Just for poop and giggles I'm going to give my opinion how it will play out. With Jimmy G. only throwing a few passes over 2 playoff games the Niners are winning with a productive running game and defense. (kind of like that team in the 70's)

The KC kids are all about Patrick M and their "Legion of Zoom" and sure the hell can score when need be. They seem to enjoy giving the other team huge hope only to crush it as the game goes on.

Last big blowout in the SB was probably the Seahawks win. I can't see that happening this year.

The D of San Fran will give Mahomes fits in the first half. The D of KC will be homing in on SF's running game forcing Jimmy G. to have to throw some passes. Jimmy G. will make the first mistake throwing an INT. First half will be low scoring with 3 points being biggest lead. Second half Mahomes starts feeling it. At start of 4th quarter, KC up 7-10 points. Niners make it close with 7-8 minutes left but KC has a long drive capped with Mahomes running in the clincher. Niners don't get to tie STEELERS and other team with #6.

Halftime will be all about the butt:)

    Final score: KC: 31 - SF: 20

    I win my bet placed on KC-1 from grubby casino's and win at least 1 of the 3 polls I played. I got good numbers: KC 1 / SF 0 //////// KC 3 / SF 6 //////// KC 7 / SF 9

I agree about sf shortening the game with the run and their defense giving kc fits. When kc sells out to stop the run shanahan will slay them with the play action pass. SF 31 KC 24

I picked the Chiefs to win the Superbowl at the beginning of the playoffs so I am staying with them. It will be close for a while but SF won't be able to keep up with KC's offense.
    Chiefs 38
    49ers 24

Stopping Mahomes for 4 quarters is impossible. Putting the ball in Jimmy G's hands is what the Chiefs will strive to do. They stopped a better running attack already.

    KC 38 Niners 24

Hanratty#5 and I are on point. Hope they win for my son and nephew who are long suffering Chiefs Fans.

Plus I don't want to see the Niners win another one. If the stupidest call in NFL history was handed to the running back the cheats would have 5. Don't need another with 6.

As a golfer I like to point this out to people. The biggest attended event on Super Bowl day is not football but Golf!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Phoenix Open will have around 200,000 today.

That might be, but the superbowl TV ratings will blow that golf game off the map, plus the open doesnt have to provide a seat for their spectators............

I was going back and forth on this one. I initially thought Mahomes and Chiefs would light it up, and score a ton of points to win it. But, when it came time to lay down some bets, I went with 49ers and the under. It's probably just the contrarian in me, but I think everyone is getting mesmerized by the shiny object that is the Chiefs O and Mahomes.

That said, I still like Andy Reid and Mahomes, so I hope they win...by only 1 point though;)

I’m pulling for the Chiefs, but I’m fearful that the 49ers’ advantage in the trenches will carry them. Their run blocking is textbook perfect, and their pass rush is going to keep Mahomes uncomfortable. In my opinion Mahomes will need to make 4 or 5 improvised 40+ yard pass plays outside of the pocket to offset how the Niners will control the line of scrimmage. Extending the play is KC’s path to victory, but can they do it often enough?

    Prediction 49ers 30, Chiefs 24

You are not alone. Most don't think Golf is a sport but I like to point out that in Golf you don't make guaranteed money, you have to earn it. In my working days I earned more a year then the 150th best golfer in the world. Would love to see how NFL players feel getting paid on performance. And not getting paid when injured.

Remember when the Ravens were a shoe in and nobody could stop Jackson? I hope Andy reminds Patrick of that.

Mahomes tries to keep it close but SF is on to their winning formula & shut down Kelce.

While Kelce is making like AB on the sideline :sword:(on his high horse again), Kittle is winning the SB MVP after KC sells out to nuetralize the potent 49ers run game.

    SF. 33
    KC. 31

Poor Andy Reid. "can't win the big ones" label sticks for another year.

Edit: noice topic steel machine. :drinks:

I want the Chiefs but I think the 49ers win. I’d be happy to be wrong...

Hoping the 49er D shows up big time.

I don’t care if Andy Reid ever wins one.
