    87x16= 1, 392...4TD's= 16

    1,392 yards and 16 TD's average over 16 games and a 4-0 record is not that impressive...lol, Go back to whatever team you root for

    So a guy who ran for 158 yards in one game. Wins Super Bowl MVP.......

    And the same guy who got into Hollywood Henderson's face in one of the most critical times in Super Bowl history when the game was still in the balance, whom was always quiet and reserved. He then proceeds to tell everyone to give him the effin ball and then runs right in the middle of the Doomsday defense (with little help with the ref, hehe) and scores a TD to virtually end SB 13 in favor for the Steelers.

    Ya, leading SB rusher. SB MVP. Hall of Famer. Loved by teammates, but, he sucked to some of you. I swear, some of you need brain transplants. For real.

    Hey NY STEELERFAN.

    Ahhh! Forget all the BS from other folks.
    Hey Diamond.

    What gives? I am not sure where the negativity is coming from here. However, Franco was practically our offense for the most part in Super Bowl IX. As you probably know, Franco set the Super Bowl rushing record at the time with 158 yards on the ground. Anyway you slice it, that was huge. It was our first Super Bowl and Franco rose to the occasion to help lead us to victory. Most players, in any sport, will tell you that winning the first championship is the most difficult one*. It was a tough game for scoring but we did it. I remember that day as a young boy. Given that, there is not one thing that you or anyone else can say to tarnish that memory or any of the other three Super Bowls that Franco was a part of. Franco was one of the key cornerstones pieces of the Steelers that led to our Dynasty creation of the 70s.

    *As a side note, I think this may in part is what led to our losing Super Bowl XLV. I felt too relaxed for that game after we recently won Super Bowl XL and Super Bowl XLlII. I often wonder if Ben kind of felt that way also, TOO relaxed; which in part led to his sloppy play initially. When you get too complacent, that is when you lose your edge. Just a theory. Ben did turn it around, and we still could have won, however.... well you how that story ended. I put more onus on Ben for losing that game than the unjust amount of blame that some people want to place on Mendenhall and his fumble.

    Thanks Steelwinds I am good just shocked. Someone once sent me a message in one of my go back and forth with another and told me I should post "water is wet" and see how many of these guys here, the negative Nancy's, rose colored glasses fans would debate that...........that is what this feels like. lol

    James Harrison and Santonio Holmes etched their names into Steelers' history in Super Bowl XLIII in 2009

    He he he

    On another note get ready for some to say something negative here..........3 - 2 - 1 :facepalm:

    What about his 22.8 receiving average per catch? Franco averaged 117 yards from scrimmage in the Super Bowl.

    Flame resistant PJ's? It's a real shame there are all these 9 year olds falling asleep puffing on a Marlboro. Looks like Fisher-Price missed the boat not offering Scooby-Doo ashtrays. :huh:

    If I remember right, the chemicals that were used to make the pajamas flame resistant back then were worse for the kids then smoking cigarettes would have been.
