Basically it's the following from what I've surmised

    Round 2, Pick 49

Round 3 (compensatory for Bell if given)

    Round 4, Pick 114

Round 4, Pick 117, From Miami through Tennessee (based on Tennessee's current playoff position)

    Round 6, Pick 179

    Round 7, Pick 210

Looking for the diamond in the rough in this batch.

The Round 3 Comp and Round 4s pick from Miami are the big ones. Depending on what the team does in FA in addition to whomever the Round 2 pick is, those two succeeding picks will be immense in terms of importance.

Take for example if the team signs a TE in addition to tagging Bud. Well, that then means that Javon is gone elsewhere; Round 2 likely being an Interior Defensive Lineman assuming their targeted player is there. If not, head for Interior Offensive Lineman. Again, just an example here.

Keep in mind though that the only reason I do not have a Interior Defensive Lineman is that, since 2011 by my count, Interior Defensive Lineman are in great supply talent wise. Can always pick one up later.

Remember that even after Tuitt was injured, Hargrave only played about 60% of the snaps so I think that might remove DL from a pick as high as number 2. I also think the Steelers think they can squeeze one more year out of Alualu.

If we draft a punter, I'm doing something. I'm not sure what, but it wont be pleasant!

We drafted a long snapper some time ago. Hence a punter wouldn't surprise me ;)

Come on man, you know the Steelers love using 3rd and 4th round picks on punters, where is your sense of history and nostalgia?

Who we released prior to the season starting if my memory is correct. Whoever was responsible for that should have been disciplined in some way.

Moving draft talk to a subforum is just silly and lose traffic. Nobody really goes to the subforums on here. We should have just one big thread on this forum for draft talk.

We already won the draft with the addition of Minkah Fitzpatrick.

I like the Bill Nunn Draft Room, some quality stuff is being posted there.

however, I do agree with you that Steelers related draft discussions, articles, etc. should also be allowed to be posted in the main forum. I used to be an active poster on another message board and rarely post there now because of a b!tch control freak moderator who insists on compartmentalizing everything. I posted a Steelers draft poll on the main forum and she moved it to a subforum very few people visit where the poll would only get a couple of votes even though the other male mod had been allowing us to post it on the main forum for years.

the draft is something many of us enjoy and look forward to, why not allow as many members as possible to participate?

Yeah, it's Steelers related because we are talking about potential players. Plus, there's nothing else to talk about during off-season. I get you don't want a 100 separate threads on every prospect. That's why their could be one mega thread in the Steelers forum to discuss prospects.

people complaining about a couple extra taps with your fingers.....oh the horror! Good thing it’s not the type of Draft Room you have to get up and walk across the hall to take part in.

That's not the issue. The issue is most of the users on here don't know about it or go there. We have a lot of users that don't even know how to embed a tweet. Got to keep it simple. It's not very enticing to talk to yourself. That's why I usually disappear after season until OTAs.

And have him back up Ben? Can't be any worse than the QB picks we've used recently:drinks:

Hmph...and all this time I thought you stayed away solely for the reason of being able to come back and hindsight our draft....by the way I love talking to myself....and it’s not as difficult as you are making it seem...if you look...jmo

I not only don't know how to "embed a tweet", I don't even know what the heck it means.

I go to the draft every season but man not having a 1st rounder sucks. I like Minkah but if for some reason we don’t get the third compensation pick this draft will be unbearable

Well see that comes back to the root of the issue. This place is dead after the season so I go to other forums. I say very intelligent things then I relay them here during the season. I would never pass hindsight as my original thought. I wanted Metcalf and them to trade up. I was begging for it on another forum as the draft was unfolding.
