Beating that man up in New England must be a TRUE qualification to be a good Head Coach for you doesn't it?! :lolol:

Yeah, when it counts. In the playoffs. Tomlin is 0 - infinity vs NE...while Harbaugh defeated Darth Hood.

    Oh okay!

So it DOES matter overall that beating that man up in New England is ultimate goal! Nevermind making the playoffs! Beating that guy with the hoodie is the absolute priority!

    Noted!!!

Well...yeah. New England is the benchmark. They have the GOAT at HC and QB. It sucks, but it's the truth.

How so? Coughlin and Harbaugh did defeat Belichick, but last time I checked...the Lombardi count is 2 for Coughlin and 1 for Harbaugh. Unless my math is off... 6 is greater than 2 or 1.

Cowher could coach circles around MT and he actually motivated his players during the coarse of play.

Why? Why do you discard reality? The Patriots have pimp slapped the entire NFL for 2 decades...Steelers being the most "owned" of all the good teams. 6 Super Bowls with the same HC and QB....sorry, but it happened. Quit trying to sweep it under the rug. The Steelers got owned by the Patriots in the Cowher and Tomlin eras. It happened. Deal with it and accept it as truth.

If your ultimate goal is to beat Bellychuck, beating him in the SB has to be the best of the best. Anyone else beat your man-crush in the SB twice?

My question is...why are people in denial of what has conspired? Yes....I envy the Patriots. I am jealous of their success. I wish the Steelers could even be competitive with them. When I see teams like Ravens, Broncos and Giants defeat them with less overall talent than the Steelers....it pisses me off. I am bitter. I am f**king angry. I admit it.

As I mentioned on the Tomlin detractor thread, I also think Harbaugh is a better coach, but would like to quantify that. IMO we would have won more games with him than with Tomlin because he is a better tactician. He would be a minor upgrade. No difference in total Super Bowls if we had him instead of Tomlin. Harbaugh just a bit better.

To play devil`s advocate. If the Ratbirds had Big Ben and we had Flacco, guess how history would have unfolded us vs them and how much more the Ratbirds would have got in the playoffs.

The run appears is over now. Brady wasn't the same player and as a result NE couldn't get it done.

Where does the cheating fall into the equation? How many games and Superbowls do you believe they won because they know certain things from video recordings?

Since the AFC road to Lombardi has pretty much gone through NE, beating them DOES qualify the HC as good. AND it is also a priority. That's pretty simple math right there.
