i know both are amazing players. we haven't seen both on the field together yet this year but, do we miss clark more when not playing or troy? thoughts?

to me we miss clark as much as troy.... we dont win without clark... troy is batman .. clark is robin as they admit... the confidence troy has in clark allows troy to take more chances and do what troy does best... without clark back there he has less confidence and plays totally different ,,,because he has to

I never, ever thought I would say this....because Troy is my GUY, but I think we miss Ryan Clark more. I have no idea why and maybe I am just putting too much emphasis on the past two Denver games

Troy struggles in coverage. Not saying Ryan is all world in coverage but I think he does a better job than Mundy and Troy.

In years past being without troy seemed to hurt the most, but in the last year or so clark seems to be bringing more to the table imo. I think we clark steps up big when troy is out, but troy just stays troy when clark is gone!

they miss clark more. career wise, Troy is a HOF player and Clark isnt, but without Clark or a player of Clarks caliber, Troy is average.

Troy is who he is because hes able to roam around the field and make big plays. when he is forced to either be in coverage or just cover a zone he isnt very good. his play making ability is what makes him special.

dont get me wrong, Clark is a fantastic player. i wouldnt say "great", but he is well above average and probably a top 15 safety. he makes Troy better. like Harrison and Woodley make each other better, but Clark can play and be effective without Troy. we havent seen it the other way around.

i think it is because mundy is better in run support than coverage , we don't have a clark replacement , woyld be nice to have a fs that can cover lot of ground with great closing speed

i agree. Mundy takes a lot of heat around here, but thats because when he is in the game Troy dissapears. thats not Mundys fault yet he gets the blame for it.

i think Mundy is a decent safety, but his game doesnt allow Troy to be Troy like Clark does.

Maybe the FS positions job is supposed to be in coverage and not run support.

i think mundy is a decent SS,but not a good FS. hopefully golden gets healed and makes some noise this year. we have to have some youth step up. i have been waiting for them to get rid of will allen since he got here.

They don't have a better option. If he can't play off the line and deep cover....
