Yeah if i remember corretly he had taken like a step in a half got hit by two guys and matthews put his helmet right on the football. I personally cant wait for mendy to get back and i hope they resign him. I will probably get killed for that last comment but i dont care he is a very good back. I wonder how many people were hating him when he threw the team on his back when ben was out or anytime ben is out. If he would have gotten 25+ carries in the super bowl we win

I hope they sign him too, I'd like to see a two headed monster of Mendy and Dwyer, I think that would be lethal. I think we have something special in Dwyer, we'll see how he does this season, see if my hunch is right.

That would be sweet  Where's Red at with his contract? Mendy and Dwyer are in contract years.

yeah the steelers have a tough choice if they cant come to a deal with sander or dwyer who to use the first round tag on. I think i would go sanders just because i think he is better known then dwyer and some team may give up a third on sanders

He was an Exclusive Rights Player this year, and will be a Restricted Free Agent next year. Different things.

Yes, apparently the message of too much hate in the world was lost on this one.[/quote:3dh3fwyt]

1st part I was for real regarding the quick recovery that I find suspicious. I wanted him cut because he fumbles and for how big and muscular he appears, he is not a tough runner at all. I just think he is an idiot for his Bin Laden tweet; however, I don't know of any athlete tweets that I've ever seen that weren't fairly stupid.

Im not going to lay all the numbers out there again but mendy is well above average in fumbles per carry. Also peterson came back quicker then mendy as did graham for pitt.

:lolol: I just posted them in another thread, so I have them handy:

I think he's actually among the best in the league. At least when compared to the big wigs. I'm sure there are some non-starters or fullbacks out there that never fumbled at all (like Dwyer, who is just seeing his first real action now). But if you compare him to his peers, he's right there at the top with Rice.

I do agree about the drugs, though. It's reasonable to expect him to be on all sorts of steroids. The league finds out if you walk past a cloud of marijuana on the way to work, but he's probably full of illegal steroids. After all, the rest of his post made sense.

I disagree he is a dancer and a lot of how quick you come back is leg strength and flexibility. i also dont really care what he tweets and what his thoughts are this is america he has the rigt to think and say what he wants. Do i support what he said hell no but i support his right to say it. There are a bunch of "truthers" out there that think just the way he does.

the way the oline has been blocking this season, i dont think you are going to see much from any rb this season unless they get it together.

i would say on 90% of their run plays this year the rb has been hit behind the line of scrimmage. tough sledding when your getting hit before you can get going.
