    If Bill Cowher had had Big Ben from the beginning like Belichick had Brady, I have no doubt Cowher ends up with at least 3 titles. Cowher was Pittsburgh through and through and he was a great coach. He deserves it.

    Well deserved. He went out on top as a champion ... just like Bettis. Tomlin is nowhere near this coach. Congrats Cowher Power ... the head coach of Blitzburgh!

    I agree. I liked him as a coach 100 times more than Tomlin, but personally I don’t think he deserves to get in. For what, 1 Super Bowl???

    John Madden only had 1 SB, he is in.

    Bill had 2 SBs in his pocket. He who shant be named soured him on qbs. Didn't need one screwing things up.

    Would be so sweet to see him and Troy getting inducted the same time. Throw in Faneca and it would be a trifecta. Include Donnie Shell and watch all other teams cry with envy

    If your gonna use the Ben argument... You should go back and look at defenses Cowher had with Capers and Lebeau... I am not saying he wasnt a good coach... But the Hall of Fame is for grearness.... And Cowher never was..

    Coach is only as good as the tools he is given. Steelers between 1996-1998 were losing starters like people during the plague. All that with O'Donnell's, Tomzacks, Grahams, Stewarts and Maddox's playing at QB. It's hard to be out of this world if all parts arent there. Cowher never had that until his last 3 years and had he stuck around for another 5 years, he would have had 2 titles and stamped it for good.

    Could you write the history of the NFL in the 90s and early 2000’s and not mention Bill Cowher?

    They guy is an ambassador of all the things that are great about the NFL and the Sport!
