Glenn I need some of these happy go lucky pills you got!

On a serious note it’s not like TOMLIN has been our coach for a couple years and everyone is overreacting. 9 years 3 playoff wins one was Cincy literally going gangster to hand us a win. It’s time for a freaking change man this guy is not a championship coach.

He won two Super Bowls, so technically he is a championship coach.

But since the Chinese fire drill against the Patriots when JJ fumbled, I’ve seen a coach that does not seem to have his team well prepared.

Two Super Bowls? I must have missed the other one. I remember the one with Cowhers team though. Hell I could have won it with that D and Ben

How about the Broncos, Seahawks, Patriots, Cowboys, 49ers, Ravens, Rams, you know every other franchise in the past 40 years that has had more than 3 head coaches but still managed to win championships. There's a bunch in other sports too.

But no you immediately jump to the bad ones.

It's completely arbitrary, don't sit there and act like that's the main reason they have been to that many SB's. The 3 coaches in 40 years means nothing. Any idiot can meet those results by refusing to fire someone regardless of winning and losing.

I'm all for replacing Tomlin but, I'm not for replacing him just to replace him. Find someone who's qualified AND available! Don't rely on "Tomlin was an unknown when he was hired"

Lol why? it's relevant. Every great coach started out as a nobody somewhere. Unless they know it at birth somehow.

But they wouldn’t win 6 Super Bowls. Your comment is tainted by your dislike of Tomlin and lacks logic.

Lol another arbitrary statistic. Pats won 6 (been to what 10?), Cowboys won 5, 49ers won 5, wow big difference.

Obviously SOMEONE knows who they are. Fans love to throw out the, "let's go get Fulano because, after all, who had ever heard of Tomlin before he got hired" then a few years later, it's FMTI!!! He only won with Cowher's players, etc.

Ok it's time for a change. Now what? Is that what you need to hear that everyone agree's with you? As fans we can't change anything so why continue to beat up other fans? What do you need from people here for closure?

When Tomlin was hired, not a single person in town knew who he was. People around the league knew yes but they will always know more than we fans.

He won that one, Cowher did not.

FYI, Cowher went 8-8 his last season, and didn’t qualify for the playoffs. Does this ring a bell with you?

And he only won one Super Bowl.

I wanted Tomlin gone last year. I said it, but I didn't cry to everyone here about it. Arguing with other people about it isn't going to make it happen.
    It's pointless.

Cowher checked out at that point. And FWIW I wanted to run him outta town too. And his teams at least had an identity and accountable assistants.

Both coaches are 1-1 in the bowl. Cowher went 8-8 in the hangover follow up, Tomlin went 9-7.

Winning 6 Super Bowls is an arbitrary statistic? I’m don’t want to be insulting, but you are acting like an idiot.

Is 6 really that much different than 5? I'm saying the Steelers winning 6 had little to do with only having 3 head coaches in a time period. Who knows, maybe they could have had more with 5 different coaches?
That number of coaches stat is meaningless because it could go either way. It's like saying I won the lottery because I've been playing for a thousand days straight and then the next winner is some guy who just bought his first lottery ticket on a whim.

Agree, Duke. Cowher checked out that year. I was glad when he retired.
