Tomlin's teams didn't miss the playoffs 6 out of 9 years. Garret had more to work with than Tomlin did this year. The team Garret coached finished with the same record. Jones publicly admitted he was not happy.

People are allowed to say what they want regarding coaches jobs. Race was never an issue in regard to coaches jobs. Tomlin did a good job this year. Most people who are unbiased and untainted by past disappointments recognized that.

Tomlin has 3 playoff wins in the last 9 years with a HOF QB. Do you honestly think that’s Good??

If we are talking about just this season TOMLIN did an average job due to having a college level offense. Problem is he should have been fired years ago. Right after the Jacksonville playoff game to be exact

Um no, I’m trying to say how bad it could be and the fact that held this blog thinks there is a better coach sitting at the airport waiting to be picked up

Tomlin will stay, as will Fichtner and likely Butler. Someone likely will take the fall, our OL coach? Danny Smith?

Meanwhile one of the great young defensive minds in the game Robert Saleh will undoubtedly grab a HC spot somewhere.

Couldnt have said it better myself! Unfortunately with trash as a HC the chances of my team winning again are 0. Sorry I’m upset about that

Yes there are no other good coaches anywhere so let’s just stick with this loser forever. Sound logic

He should start saving his money & start buying up Steeler stock. We would win the SB every year.

Fool this game didn't matter anyway,if they had won they would finish 9-7 and out of the playoffs because the Titans won.

Actually, there's a guy coordinating a good defense tonight who, I think, might be a viable candidate......

Name a perspective or current coach who could have gone to the promise land with the duck and won it all with just a couple decisions.

Agree! This year, Garrett had Prescott, Elliot, Cooper, Cobb and Witten. We had Duck/Reinderr, Snell, Washington, Johnson and McDonald. Which group is more talented?

On top of that, they played in a very weak NFC East

He's not second to Bill, he's more of a top 10 HC despite what you think.
