it may have been mentioned in other posts but i just wanted to point out how good he played yesterday. I love watching line play(wierd like that) and he played as good as i have seen him. he had a couple of plays were he got off the ball alittle slow when ben was in the gun but his run blocking was great. he was about the only one but he finished off almost all of his blocks including pancaking scott on a run play. he is playing at a high level right now. he may stink the place up next week. that is why i wanted to point it out now

i posted on another thread how it seems that the organization really doesn't think much of Max Starks and he definitely have to be the bigger man how they have treated him over the past few years.

I don't know who bright idea was it to cut him for Jonathan Scott last year but they need to reevaluate their position. We were so lucky that he did not sign with someone last year or even this year for that matter because Scott and Essex both signed with other teams.

If it wasn't for Starks we would of had Scott starting at left tackle last year and Adams (rookie) starting this year. And we know how a disaster that was during the preseason.

    Starks is the consumate professional.

I'm a Max supporter and have been since he was Drafted here. He's always performed to "the standard" .
That being said, Adams isn't as far away as some would believe in my opinion.

anyone watching can see that this team is not very good along the oline. sure Max has his days and Pouncey is one of the better centers, but as a unit they are in the bottom half in the league.

i think they will struggle along this year and as long as Ben keeps using the short pass game and if Redman, Dwyer, Mendenhall, Rainny and Batch can give them in the neighborhood af a 100 yards a game they will have as good a chance as anyone at making the playoffs and more.

i just dont see this oline consistanly being able to open holes. it seems like when the deffense knows its a run play they push the oline back and hit the rb in the backfield almost everytime. the rb has to be spectacular to gain yards as we saw with Redman and Dwyer yesterday.

im still hoping that Adams turns into a stud and so does Decastro.
