So, your thoughts on the replacement refs so far

Everytime he doesn't catch a ball.

 

I think the funniest thing was when the ref in one of the games I watched (I think it was the 49ers/Lions game) meant to say to put time back on the "game clock" but it came out as "glame c*ck" instead. He looked and sounded nervous to me before that, so it wasn't surprising that he stumbled over his words, but those weren't the best words to stumble over.

 

Some pretty horrid calls from yesterdays game. I just loved the phantom pass interference call on Taylor

 

YEP!!! We got the benefit of the horrible calls yesterday!!!! I think they put them all together for the week and gave them to us!!! We still won though!!!

Seriously that PI call on ike was insane. I think they threw the flag for a personal foul and then realized it was a clean hit and just thought, well we need to call something.

Whats funny is all the rat birds are blaming their loss to the eagles yesterday on the refs, ray ray and flacco whining like little beaches about the refs stealing their win goes to show what a bunch of whiners they are, last week they were superbowl bound, this week, the refs lost their game for them.......

 

You're telling me!! I didn't even get to see a play until halfway through the 2nd quarter because they were showing the end of Baltimore/Philly - and even though I have the Sunday Ticket, because it was shown locally - the Sunday Ticket channel was blacked out. I was PI**ED!

 

Man its some BS! They stink. I'm tired of watching the games and see all the obvious bad calls or fantom calls that they are making. They are also slowing down the games. Look at that stupid call on the Ryan Clark hit on Holmes which should have been an incompleted pass and no plently on Ike.

 

I didn't see it but that's funny as hell if he was crying!!!

yesterdays game was tough. i know they want to get every call right, but they are really slowing the game down. some of those calls yesterday on both teams were terrible.

so far though nothing has been so over the top bad though. the regular refs have to be getting a little worried. im sure they were hoping the replacement refs would have cost a team a game by now.

 

Epic let down

 

I loved the one yesterday where the ref made a call, the coach challenged it (rightfully so) and the ref had to go out and reverse his own bad call.

 

only difference is .. they throw more flags andddddddd if the WR complains enough he wil get a pass interferance call

Wow. Watching ATL and DEN, these scab refs really really suck. The regulars are getting their case strengthened by the performance by the scab refs tonight after the 1st quarter. And all the O player has to do is complain and they will get a flag. Ridiculous!

 

One thing I've noticed this week in a couple of different games is refs calling the foul on the wrong player. There were a number of times I saw a ref call a penalty on a player that was nowhere near the actual infraction.

 

This game is ugly. It's going to be 1 am by the time it's over. The NFL should be embarrassed by the refs in this game. Lets get the regular refs back.

If the Monday night game does not light a fire under Goodell and the league to get the regular refs back then we are going to be stuck with these guys the rest of the year. That was terribly painful to watch. I went to bed shortly after half which was 10 central. What time did that game end?

Several really bad and blown calls. And the primetime games are supposed to have the better crews. I know these guys are doing their best but it is time to get the real ones back. And I can't believe I am asking for those guys to return...
