I rip on Ben quite a bit... but I hope he comes back and has a pro bowl year in 2020.

had a 96 rating with 5k yards last year. 34 tds 16 picks but thats with AB. We need a legit #1

Just wish we had a decent OC. Would like to see how the team could perform when given workable playcalls and expectations that aren't flawed. This should have been a year in which we could evaluate talent (we have to an extent) but with the horrible situational calls....smh.

No way will I flame Duck for Sunday night. 15 or 16 run attempts? Come on. That's terminable job performance.

I always try to fall back on the premise that these 'guys' know what they are doing. Damn, sure hard to keep that in mind when you see the offense series unfold on the field.

You are 1000% correct.... Instead of Randy earning his paycheck and putting his young players in the best possible position to make plays and win games......He leaves you shaking your head wondering how he continues to be employed. Horrible situational play caller. Have a heathy backfield and you throw the ball almost 40 times against a team that blitzes ALOT. Just not very smart.

The 3 step drop, west coast type of passing game is more suited to Duck than standard downfield reads. Bill Walsh invented that to conform to a somewhat mobile back-up QB who didn't have a strong arm. It is friendly to the young QB and the O line and it isn't run a lot these days which is why we should try it this week if it can be worked in that quickly.

I’m not sure how much time we’ll have left after practicing the wildcat....

This is why the draft is so important to replenish players into your system.

I think we are in for some more "Ben ball." The coaching probably can't touch how the offense will be ran, orders from higher-up. Most likely will hurt the defense with top. Get back to running an offense like our last SB win & we have a chance. My reason for wanting a RB in the 2nd round.
