I love it when fans of teams with a) records worse than the Steelers and b) no Super Bowl wins (ie. Bengals and Browns fans) say that the Steelers suck. If that were true, what does that say about their team with less wins and less (ie. zero) SB wins?

The Browns is a Nissan, the Steelers a Toyota. But being a car guy. I had to make that joke.

I've always wondered if that matters when buying used? If not then maybe both bought used?

 

It does because it establishes a used car market for those makes....a potential buyer might factor that in when they are deciding which make to buy when purchasing a new car. It probably influenced me when I recently replaced my 20 year old subaru outback with another outback.

As for the OP.... I think this is awesome. There's probably the same picture on some browns fan board. I love the rivalry in football and, speaking for myself, i'm glad to see the browns starting to be (almost) competitive again.

 

Good point. And being a car guy, I like trying different cars, Mustang Cobras, Vettes, and currently an E46 M3. For me it's been about looks and the sound (exhaust sounds).

Once the sound goes away in the future, well not sure what I'll do. Don't want to think of that right now.

If we're being honest about the Buy American thing, the Rav 4 is probably more American than most vehicles sold in the US

 

Whether it is or not seems irrelevant to most. To most if it’s not one of the big three USA manufacturers then you come as unsupportive to fellow American workers. At least that’s the perception.

Just for the consumer awareness and truthful disclosure - might be nice to see how much of any car (including the Big 3) is made/assembled in USA. I think we'd all be shocked how much is farmed out. They sure make those EPA stickers large and comprehensive enough, why not manufacturing stats?

 

cars(dot)com provides an american-made index factoring on both parts and assembly. According to them the Jeep Cherokee is #1 for 2019 but there are a number of Honda and Toyotas on the list.

Edit: Also tons of loyal Jeep fans complaining about the shoddy construction reliability since Chrysler pawned Jeep off onto Fiat. I always liked Jeeps and owned several over the years but now a I'm a Tacoma lifer with their incredible resale value.

 

Steelers suck is about all they got. Nothing really to cheer for anymore. One would think they would hate the Raisins for winning a few SBs after they left...lol

Don't you know that JEEP stands for Just Empty Every Pocket? Those Cherokees are pure garbage. I don't know anyone who has achieved 100K miles without significant repair costs.

By the way. Toyota's and Honda's are more American made than GM, FORD and DODGE combined. A lot of Americans are building those Japanese owned products and they make decent livings doing so.
