Exactly and if I was a team like the Texans or Cheats I would do it in a heartbeat. He is due 350k if he is picked up on waivers and that is a drop in the bucket compared to him going back to Baltimore. Suggs says he won't report ok then you don't pay him the 350k and the Rats don't get him........This is a plain and simple business move imo.

    For Starters —-No

He has said if anyone other than the ravens try to claim him he won’t report!!!

Secondly—- If he Wanted to sign here I still say no....

He was a great player and a great anti-Steeler and has no business EVER wearing The Black-N-Gold

It is just a smart move, why let a team you are behind stronger? If you have a chance to keep your opponent the same and not stronger you do it imo.

I wouldn't mind if they brought in Suggs. We do need depth at the position. I cant see him being disruptive. If anything he would serve as a quality backup and a veteran presence. The guy has been there and done that. Having a guy like that on the squad wouldn't be a bad thing for a young team headed to the playoffs IMO.

So you think Suggs will be happy just playing a few snaps a game for the Steelers?

Not sure. I am assuming the Steelers wouln't bring him in if he wasn't. Not that they will anyway.

Who cares if he is happy? The waiver process exists to keep a guy like Suggs from getting to a team like the Ravens in a case like this.

I wonder if he'll play for the Titans since they still have a shot? Either that or retire. I'll bet he's on his way to Nashville

The Ravens are doing just fine without Suggs, even if he went back there it would be as a backup, he's not a difference maker anymore.

I don't think the addition of a 37 yr old Suggs makes a team any stronger though.....

Maybe it's only a few plays a game, but I'd happily take a guy like that coming off the bench.

I heard that thuggs does indeed want to return to Baltimore and that he'll retire if any other team makes a waiver claim for him

The key here is you don't think meaning you don't know for sure right? So my question is why chance it, every team has a chance and any team that has to play the team ahead of them should do whatever it takes to not let them get any better. jmo

IMO if you think he can help your team maybe you pick him up. I don’t believe you grab him just to block him from going somewhere else. You would have to be willing to make room on your 53 roster. I don’t see many teams doing that just to make a move to block someone else. I certainly don’t see our coaching staff doing it. We have shown that we shy away from vets and prefer younger guys....

Funny, they posted on NFL.com yesterday morning that the Titans grabbed him. Somebody may have jumped the gun.
