Does he look completely intimidated to anyone else? So scared he can hardly move?

Not to me. I do however think they really need to disguise what they are doing with him in there like on the play from out of the endzone. have Redman or Dwyer in there as well and fake it to them and then throw it to him on the run. When it is just him back there teams know something tricky is coming up.

For some reason I just get the feeling that he will be a fumble machine. Maybe I'm wrong but he just looks like a guy that would have trouble holding on to the ball.

He's probably frustrated that he hasn't broken one, or even a big gain, yet.

Well in the Broncos game there was basically no way he'd get a shot at a return there. Also with the Goodell rules on special teams it's basically phased out that phase of the game. Devin Hester was probably the last great return man we will ever see under these new rules. I think it really hurts guys like Rainey that need the open field to make a big splash.

On that note, i find it sad that college kickers have to kick from the 35 and the pros from the 40. (the sad part is the pros from a shorter distance)

He's going to get better down the line, just need a few more games to gain the confidence he needs and he'll be fine.

Actually its the 35 they kickoff from in the NFL...it used to be the 30

And as a side note...Rainey could have had a nice play during the game...if he and Willie Colon didnt run into each other.

Agree here. I don't think they trust him just yet. He'll get some touches but I usually see Antonio Brown back their receiving punts in critical points in the game. He looks like he's one hit away from losing the ball.

I don't think he looks intimidated at all. I think he should get more work on early downs though.

If Rainey catches that screen pass and doesn't bobble it, he would still be running some where.

He seems like a waste of a roster spot to me. Hope I'm wrong

I think your going to eat those words at some point this season. The guy has amazing speed and he is going to some points on the board this season. Remember he is just a rookie too.

Rainey is a guy who is going to do nothing for most games, most nights, most of everything, but that one he breaks it here or there....they will be special. This is for multiple reasons.

    1. He isn't going to get more than 3 or 4 opportunities in any game in order to make a dent. KO returns are basically not part of the game any more. P returns are something he is going to have to earn Tomlin's trust about. In the offense, he just isn't going to get more than a play here or there to make a splash.

    2. Wear and Tear....the guy can only afford so much on his body.
