i was all over the defensive performance last week. I was pissed and I thought we were in trouble. I was wrong. I am not saying we fixed all our problems because i think the jets off might be challenged to move it on anyone. I just wanted to say to the people who jumped on my azz. sorry i guess i overreacted. mundy stepped up and I guess ike needs to take a page from clark and not play in denver. not making light of clarks situation, but ike played horrible in denver

They started to get some pressure today.

Plus you can't panic when you lose to Peyton Manning. Especially in the thin air of Denver when he's running the no huddle.

My hat off to you, sir. That's not something you read very often. The D executed better today than in Denver. Can't wait to see what we do when Troy and JH are both healthy out there.

we all want the best from them and they had issue's last week and this one. ben played one hell of a game today. timmons was all over. squeez'em was on the mark. heath was heath. alot of guys stepped it up. it still needs work but as soon as the old and new mesh, we are going to be very hard to handle. i just hate if we get a little MO going bam the bye hits. overall better effort this week. we were all down from last week.

Yeah - they did - after the midway point in the 2nd quarter. It was like they woke up and started to play like they knew what they were there to do.

Great effort on ALL sides of the ball. As Tomlin would say - they played "above the line" in all phases.

On top of that - they played a pretty good team today. I know that putting up 48 points against the Bills last week was a little fluky, but they did roll last week, and the Bills took care of business this week in a big way. So, I think that puts the Steelers back in the conversation and should quiet some of those who think that they are done. This is another week with the new offense, and we should continue to see improvement in that department each week. That's something that excites me.

Regarding the Defense - they are STILL not forcing turnovers - and that is very frustrating. They still have those things to work on, but I think they are headed in the right direction.

I also think I might have slightly overreacted, but at the same time, our defence still worries me. The Jets offence is pretty bad, so I don't want to go too far the other way until I see our defence against more good teams.

I thought we were in trouble when Dirty Sanchez started airing it out.
