I agree. Unfortunately, for all the crazy we've seen from AB over the past couple years, the racial slur and threat to Mayock seems to the least noteworthy to most observers. It's sad that Garrett alleges with no proof that Rudolph called him a racial slur and Rudolph gets castigated and branded a racist. Yet AB launches a racial slur AND threat of violence against Mayock, which IS substantiated by witnesses and society accepts it and doesn't consider AB racist. Crazy as a loon maybe, but not racist. Double standard? OK rant over. Sorry if this comment crosses the MB rules line.

Every time that there is one of these PR dust ups about AB "joining" the Pats again, everyone seems to think that it's as simple as him signing a contract then joining the team. And Im not talking just the fans, the Pundits and Writers who perpetuate this crap do too. The guy is absolutely positively going to get suspended for multiple games when he does sign. Everyone seems to forget that.......even AB himself....which Shannon Sharpe addressed last week. He said that he thinks that AB has in his mind that him being out of the league for 11 weeks now IS his punishment and that when he's resigned he will be able to play. From ABs posts, I think he's right. It's to the point now....and when he posted the video above.....that there isn't any time left for him to sign. If he signed today, he'd only be eligible for the last 3 games and the Pats have at the most 6 games to play. There really isn't enough time for him sign, the NFL to finish their investigation, decide on a punishment, and have him serve it. I really don't think that AB realizes that. It is quite sad what a joke he's become.
