First Steelers game at Heinz Field - quick question

Hey - heading to the game on 12/15 - first time ever to Heinz Field. First time to Pittsburgh, too.

So excited.

Unfortunately I have to catch a flight at 545pm.

Any advice where I should park? Need to park someplace where I can get out quickly and get to the airport; return car and catch flight.

Appreciate any insight/advice you might have.

Your not going to make it if you stay for whole game.

 

Park at the airport and watch the game there. Only way I see you making that.

 

Is there a place where someone could park away from the stadium and take Uber and still make this work? If things go right, you can leave early as we'll be up big.

 

With traffic and such you're going to have trouble making that flight. Plus I believe there's still a chance that game could get flexed to a 4:00 time slot?

 

As mentioned, your time frame isn't gonna work. The only way you could do that is leave at half time and even then, anything could happen. Anyway you can change to a later flight?

 

See the city Saturday,Tailgate at 9AM, and head for the airport after the first quarter.

 

I made it to a 7 pm flight once, doing the same thing you are doing, but this isn't going to work for 545 pm I'm afraid.

 

Definitely not going to work now that they’ve flexed the game.

 

Haha change of plans. Just changed my flight to the 830am flight out of PIT on Monday.

 

That's great. I enjoy the game. It's been a couple years, but I park just below the west end bridge by the casino at Cardello Electric Supply. 401 N. Point Drive. Get there early and great people park in that lot.....easy walk....

 

We went to yesterday's game, which was also flexed. Thankfully, the only change I had to make was my parking reservation, but I was able to just cancel since our hotel had a shuttle to the game that I didn't previously know about.

Have a great time, it's an awesome stadium, with a great atmosphere.

As stated, no way you can see the entire game and even worse if you rent a car. The only option I can envision is finding your way to the game without a rental car. Leave the game at 3:30 and there is an Uber area right outside the stadium. Every minute after 3:30 will be 2 minutes to get there.
