Naw, they are just going to have to catch what is thrown to them. If that's playing out of their minds, then so be it. Duck needs to manage the game and take care of the football. If everyone just does their job and limit mistakes, we can beat the browns.

It isn't just a matter of catching the balls thrown to them. They have to run their routes with precision and find ways to get open. Drops have been a problem for the entire receiving corps this season, but so has getting separation from defenders.

I agree with all of that. But I don't believe separation has been as much of an issue as timing and pressure due to poor OL play. You don't need 5 yards of separation if the ball is placed properly. You actually don't need separation to complete a pass, just accuracy.

    Hey Steelers304.

And get the freakin' TEs involved. The three receivers are equally talented in my opinion. Of course, I want to have all three WRs. However, the TE void for many weeks now can make up for some of JuJu's absence, as we have not utilized them in how long now? Get with it coaches!

It is a combination of all of it. Villanueva has struggled, but I'm not even sure the line's work in pass protection is much worse than last season. Roethlisberger was great at avoiding the rush or throwing under pressure. Rudolph isn't.

Separation still helps and this team was spoiled by Brown's ability to get open. Nobody on this roster even comes close.

The bad qb play is why our line looks really bad. Teams knew blitzing Ben is stupid as he picks that apart

    Hey Steelers304.

This season has really just sucked from an injury and player departure point. A little more than one year ago we were sitting pretty with B-B-B. And that is just the beginning. We were stacked on "O". Now the "D" has notched it up to be very good and the "O" is struggling. Although a number of our losses could easily have been "Ws" if not for blunders from players not named Mason. We actually could be in 1st place. I will not dissect those games. Anyone who watched them this season knows what I am talking about.

And yes, those games that I am referring to, really were not lost because of the coaches. Just bone-headed player blunders. Very discouraging. Oh well, we are where we are and fortunately still "Significant" as I say.

    Hey turtle.

Well he joined the team on 9/25/2019 and we were 0-3. So we are now 6-5. This means since being on the team we have gone 6-2. In that regards he might be happy. However I doubt it. With the lack of his usage as well as McDonald's, I cannot imagine he is happy at all. I know I am not. I could go on all night about how the coaching staff is mismanaging the TE position for many reasons, The #1 reason is what they can offer to our young QB situation; which is so much on many different levels. I just do not get it. Take care.

I didn’t mean it was a good thing. But he has something against JuJu for some reason.

Is there any way Steelers can draft Dobbins RB from O State? Probably not....he'll be a top 5 pick.

Did anyone see S Damarious Randall is not playing tomorrow not because of injury but because of a coaches' decision? Seems something is going on behind the scenes...Not even traveling with the team according to rotoworld.

The Browns have some serious problems at safety. Hopefully, the remains of the Steelers' offense can take advantage.

Morgan Burnett had a good game for the Browns when they beat the Steelers, he's on IR now.

They lost him and Randall during that game. It's easier to deal with that type of situation if you know about it ahead of time rather than during the game.

The major differences this week will be Hodges over Rudolph and no Garrett. The defense also has to play better. They most likely need to hold the Browns to fewer than 20 points and force multiple turnovers.
