How badly do we need it to be gametime around here?

It has been a very intense week on the boards with some fun mixed in as well. Lots of tempers flaring and heated words. I imagine this is what the old board would have looked like last season after the embarrassing opening day fiasco at the Ravens, only 3 times as bad. I think we need something more than some preseason games and one mixed reviewed showing to talk about thankfully it is Sunday. So to steal a trademark catch phrase from the Penguins;

The sun is shinning, it is a beautiful fall day and ..........

ummmm by the way did I mention HERE WE GO !

 

Uggggh! A 4:30 game following a night game! I don't think my stomach can handle this!

This comes from someone who remembers that the only night games were on Mondays. The rest were at 1:00 on Sundays unless the game was on the West Coast.

 

Thankfully my son will be up from his morning nap by the start of the early games and my afternoon will be filled with folding laundry and chasing an 18 month old around the house wishing I had more energy. By game time I will be happy for afternoon naps and the chance to sit and watch the Steelers kill the Jets so i have bragging rights over a guy I work with who is a hardcore Jets fan.

 

I feel you Ray. I work a rotating schedule so for some Monday night games and Thursday night games I had to rely on my phone for updates and hope I didn't get caught. Then we figured out how to get around the web browsing block or company has on the internet thanks to google and yahoo sports I can at least have a game tracker minimized while I work and pop it up every few minutes.

 

4:05 game next week too huh? I hate them too
