Garret will lose all his game checks from the suspension. I think Rudolph's fine was excessive.

Goodell’s NFL is a joke. Always will be until he’s gone.

That is sort or ridiculous that they all got fined. I hope front office pays all of them for the players.

No surprise. Gooddell loves the tax write off.

I don't think they can under NFL rules. I guess at the end of the year (if there is room under the Cap) then could get a bonus..though that might violate CBA. They should just be give an option to donate to Goodell's favorite charity "The ineffective school of advanced leadership". I hear he was valedictorian.

I heard before that fine money goes to things like retired NFL players and charities.

Or no NFL. Nobody needs them. Seems like they need a lesson on that.

I know the NFL is going to do whatever they want to do. That being said, I kind of feel bad for a guy like Brooks-James. The guy only got a couple of NFL roster checks and he has to give some of it back.

So Rudolph had the top fine. Why wasn't he suspended then? Either he did something that he should have been suspended for or he didn't. But if he didn't, why such a fine? I know what it looked like Rudolph did, my point is the NFL can't have it both ways. Or, I guess they can, since they're the NFL.

The fines make no sense to me. I understand Garrett will lose future game checks..... but making MR's fine the highest seems a bit absurd.... considering it's a first time offense.

I agree that Rudolph's fine doesn't fit and is excessive.

As far as Garrett is concerned, since his penalty is not getting paid from the team, then the league/charity isn't benefiting from getting $$, only the team benefits by not having to pay him. Am I thinking about that right?

I believe getting suspended is much worst that being fined. Being suspended usually means much more money being withheld from the player than a one time fine amount. I also think the money goes to the same place whether fined or suspended. No one benefits from these situations except the NFL and is why the union and team usually appeal most events. The fine to MR was excessive but the PC thing to do. Richard Cranium Garrett will end up with losing much more money in the end if the NFL doesn't start squatting to pee and gets that thug back on to the field soon.

At this point of my life I could live comfortable on all that fine money.
