Ben was healthy this year, played poorly and barely made it through one game. Besides the beer cellar, where is your optimism coming from?

I think over the years I have said I love (insert name) and I hate (insert name) about 10 times each game.

    1. He lead the league in passing last year.
    2. Over the last five years and up until this injury, he has been extremely healthy starting and finishing 32 out of 32 of the most recent games prior to the Seattle game.
    3. He is determined to win!

All good points. I just think his elbow is made out of dried rubber bands at this point. If I’m right, I’ll drink one of your beers. I hope you are correct. If you are, I’m still drinking your beer.

His elbow will have all new polymer/nuclear bands and this is the beer I want when I am right.

I may have missed reports or previous discussions, but I don’t think he was healthy before the injury this year.

Ben should probably at least start rehabbing his injury before we have him slated as the starter thru the 2021 season.

This is not an excuse post but it just shows you how surrounding team mates make a huge difference.

Let me start off by saying Mason has not shown me yet he can be a starter in this league. Dak is also lighting it up right now playing extremely well.

Now that we got that out of the way, Dak looked horrific when zeke was suspended, their LT was hurt and they had no cooper. Now add in receivers that are worse than dallas #2, no running game, TE and bad O line... lol cant fully blame Mason

BS, nobody in their right mind had the Bengals finishing ahead of the Steelers. When did you turn into HeinzMustard, with all the pessimism?:roflmao:

When I see us having to rely on Johnny holton as an offensive option. We make moves to help the defense and do nothing for the offense.

    Hey jeh1856.

I am not sure if in fact he "was healthy" IMO during the pre-season and at the beginning of the year. Maybe the injury was already in motion.

Nobody could see that Moncrief would be totally useless, most of the media considered that a solid free agent signing, he was expected to start. They drafted a RB and a WR, what more do you want Colbert to do? When the team was offense heavy with the killer B's, they didn't win anything.

If that is the case, the problem is even worse. He barely played in preseason and they took it easy on him in camp. If he can’t make it through preseason injury free......

That's too funny. I bought one of those in 2017, and decided to save for a special occasion which was supposed to be Steelers winning the bowl. I ended up drinking it regardless, only to be highly disappointed a second time.

That said, I'm still saving the one I bought in 2018. Why? Because I'm a hopeless optimist who doesn't learn from mistakes apparently.
