He said Snell should be back to practice this week, I hope he plays, I'm tired of watching Edmunds and Samuels struggle in short yardage situations. He also said when it comes to signing veteran players like a Pryor, the team prefers the younger players who tend to be in better condition. A lot of these younger guys bounce around from practice squads, and stay in better shape. We saw Dez Bryant come off the couch and sign with the Saints last season, and he tore his Achilles in the first practice. He also said he likes the upside of the younger players they signed.

I didn't hear the press conference but he is getting ripped on 93.7 the fan for not having his players backs about the Miles Garrett assault. I guess he just gave a weak tepid response about not commenting on the situation and the NFL is handling it.
It was compared to Freddy Kitchens calling himself a "Miles Garrett fan" because Garrett is such a great guy who does so much for the community etc. etc.

We better win this game 3-0 because our offense might be the worst unit in NFL history minus Juju Dionte and Connor

If Snell is back and healthy and can play that will at lest give the Steelers some sort of running game to rely on. Snell is better than both Samuels and Edmunds when it comes to running the ball and should be able to have a decent game running the ball against a terrible Bengals defense. I don’t care who they have playing in this game the Steelers just better find a way to win and get to 6-5. There will just be no excuse what so ever to lose this game in Cincinnati on Sunday.

Anything about Rudolph still starting etc. Duck beat what in retrospect was a good Chargers team.

I wonder if there are orders from the league or the owners to give a canned answer regarding the brawl and move on. It's one of those deals where he will be criticized whichever way he goes.

Considering Rooney's milquetoast statement about the incident, I guess the Steelers response is on the outside to just say let the league handle it but they have to be seething on the inside. At least I would hope so, if something like that doesn't light the fire in their belly, then the fire just isn't there.

We need Kentucky Snell. I’ve seen some ok play from him as a pro, but I have yet to see that same lower body power that he used to consistently plow through SEC defenses last year.

Guy can't win. Doesn't discipline his players so sh!t like Thursday happens & is suppose to shed light on the horrific outcome he would rather forget. How many of you hold yourself to the standards & perfection you expect from him? That's what I thought.

Not aimed at you Hanratty, just had to rant.

I don't have a problem with what Tomlin said, I'm sure it was quite different in the locker room.

That's OK. I didn't hear the press conference, I just heard the radio hosts blasting him for a tepid response. I think it is like you said inside the locker room with no recorders or cameras around I'm sure Tomlin had a very different tone.

The guys on the Fan have to stir the pot, it's their job. Tomlin doesn't have that luxury.

Agree with this. I highly doubt behind close doors hes like "yeah whatever." Everyone has to tip toe around the situation in public in the eyes of the NFL.
