Even if it were broken, he could waive the other arm as soon as he hears the punters foot contact the ball and get it back down in time to catch the ball.

Here is a current injury report:

I agree, but I’m not sure that he officially retired. He was released with an injury designation, and talked retirement, but I have not seen where he has actually submitted retirement papers.

Isn't he only on the practice squad? It's not like the guy has some great long-term value. I would like him as a short-term boost to the return game, but he has to be on the 53-man roster for that.

When Rudolph tried to throw down the field against the Browns, he wasn't accurate.

    Hey BBH.

I agree, Also, anyone who thinks that a professional sports team is just going to lay down for another team is not thinking rationally in my opinion. I think that they personally would not want the distinction of going winless for a whole season.

    Hey steelersrule6.

I really feel that Mason's issues on the "Deep" passes is more of a "comfort/chemistry" issue. My friend who followed him in college, I did not, stated that Mason can make these throws.

    Hey BBH.

Yes, if Mason is somewhat nervous back there, which he probably is, I think if the O-Line did a little better and he had better support skill players (I hate to say it) Brown, Bell, Bryant, Heath, etc., he would feel way more comfortable (especially Brown and Bell). All of the current blunders that have unfolded over Mason's time at the helm, that were not his fault are not helping his confidence at all. JuJu, Connor, Moncrief (others?) have all cost us games in which if they did not fudge it up would probably have led to victories. Mason has to know that he can count on these guys.
