so the NFL doesn't want a terrible game between two teams that may try and kill each other instead of playing football showcased as a stand-alone national TV affair?

I guess their (NFL) agenda is trying to avoid the national spotlight as much as possible after the last debacle. I do not care if they play it at 1:00 am, people are salivating to watch this one.

I'm surprised they didn't relocate it to London where games start at 3am PST (or something silly like that).

It may also have something to do with public safety concerns trying to avoid everyone exiting after dark.

 

I'm pretty sure the NFL will instruct both teams to keep things under control and I don't anticipate any shenanigans.

 

That would have been rough on us. That's a lot farther than the 4 1/2 hour drive we have from Ohio for the game that day.

 

Great I love 1 PM games

 

Biggest reason is because of the Oakland Raiders. They have been picking up some wins as of late. Their biggest test will come in the form of Kansas City. Time to find out how good they really are.



Regarding the 1 P.M. EST for the game?! Love 1 P.M. games. Gives me some time to enjoy the rest of the day doubly so and no less. 4 P.M. games are okay but Prime Time games forces me to prep that whole weekend. Too much planning!!

 

Not a bad money grab either! The NFL knows the world will watch the 1PM game because of the "rematch".

 

This sucks. Normally I like 1 pm home games, but I will have a house full of family left Sunday morning from a Saturday get together and now I have to get up and leave them to make their own breakfast.

Flex scheduling sucks. It screws with the people who go to the games. This really screws with people who make hotel reservations.

 

I love 4 oclock games. Games at 1 are right in the middle of the day. Then by the time the game is over it's just about dark.

Late games give me the whole day to do what I want, then I come home and watch Steelers and eat dinner. Love it.

 

1pm kickoff versus 3 extra hours to get drunk and belligerent I think we see what way the league is leaning here.

 

I like 1pm games but really don't mind the 4pm ones either. What I hate is the Thursday, Sunday and Monday night games.....heck after all the excitement last Thursday I never stop watching tv until 1:30. Then I couldn't get to bed and 5am comes early.....man I dragged Friday.

Not sure what lot your in but most lets you in 5 hours prior to game time at least.

So you probably be allowed in around 8am since the game time changed.

 

As far as I'm concerned all games should start at 1 o'clock local times.
I DVR all Steeler night games. I need my beauty sleep.
Plus I get to fast-forward through the commercials.

 

I knew not to check this site or else I would have been up all night....lol

 

I made that mistake. 1:15 am with a 5 am alarm was horrible. Coffee was thick that day.

 

We're in Gold Garage 1. I'll have to give the reservation company a call and see if we can get in sooner (the website just says it's not available earlier). That would be great if we can.

Raiders have the 2nd easiest remaining schedule steelers have the 3rd easiest, browns have the 1st easiest left to go, once oakland gets by the chiefs they should skate on by pretty easily....
