Mason looked like a 3rd round QB last night.

I think they could do better too but I also think finding someone that is BETTER will not be easy.

I agree. The front office really drove that point home with the extension they gave him earlier this year, when he was already under contract thru 2020.

he looked like an undrafted free agent, worse than Hodges even. 3rd round is being very generous

Too bad he only faces the Browns twice a year, and never in the playoffs.

He was horrible, pro level may be too fast for him.

You're right, the season isn't over. I'm just going by the familiar trend I've grown accustomed to.

If they even made the playoffs it would be a miracle, given the lack of talent on offense.

Memories are short around here. I remember our franchise QB, 1st round draft pick, 11th overall in 2004 throwing 5 INTs recently.... AT Heinz Field. With Bell in the backfield, Munchak coaching the O-line and AB at WR.

Exactly, the browns have been the worst run nfl franchise since their return give or take 1 year. They are awful that should be his record. That's why I never give credence to the "never a losing record crowd" or the .600 win percentage crowd. He get 4 games a year against 2 of the worst franchises in the league. They have accounted for 40 of his 125 wins. Its like the Pats being in the AFC East, who else is gonna win that Div? Those teams are a yearly joke minus a year here or there. We have Balt and for a NY minute the Bengals but other than that This Div sucks as well. On top of all of that Ben has probably won more games in Ohio than all browns qbs since 99 and possibly more than Dalton ( Im not checking stats), he owns them.

One team he usually doesn't play down to. He could have used some offensive help last night.

Personally I don’t see this game as a example of the “playing down” that we’ve grown accustomed to and I am The Darkness.....so you should be surprised.

We stunk because as I had feared, our senior citizen O-line needs it`s rest. All the failure stemmed from there. That plus we got no turnovers from our defense which we have been living off of.

Guys call a spade a spade and take the goggles off... We went in on a short week against a team that literally has 10x more talent then we do on offense. i did not expect to win that game last night. Tomlin is a horrible coach but did you see how bad that clown qback was last night? We were not winning that game, and I cant believe we actually had chance to....... As good as our defense is we are not gonna compete with teams like that in there building.... especially on a short week...

I thought about the age factor and our o line. I think you’d have to go back to the days of Darnell Stapleton & Co to find an uglier performance by a Steelers O line. They looked gassed before the first snap

Sometimes you just gotta tip your cap. You gotta tip it even further when you have Mason Rudolph.

Even Vegas is onto Tomlin's trends, having the Browns favored by 3 for no other reason than tendencies.

The Tomlin apologists aren't blind but their vision is obscured by Tomlins balls hanging down in their faces.

But he didn't lose in Cleveland. Not even Landry did that.

    Yes he did Roonatic.

I have been advocating for him and I still will. I am not going to throw in the towel on the kid for one game. It was ugly though. However, he had a lot going against him as far as support last night; Injuries, poor O-Line play, poor coaching (well that is about every week). Given that the four picks were horrendous and for the first time, to me, he really did look bad. STEELWINDS AKA The East Side Kid

Yes he did. Roethlisberger was QB in 2014 right? Steelers got beat worse in Cleveland that year than they did last night... with AB, with Bell, with Munchak coaching OL.

Like I said, memories are short around here. Ben got owned in Cleveland in 2009, too.

Hell... Brady got owned by the Dolphins at Miami several times. Sh!t happens.

In almost all work places that's how it goes. If you continually mess up or have complaints brought against you it's the bosses job to straighten things out. It starts at the top and then **** rolls down hill. When you get poor food service do you chew on the employees butt or do you ask to speak to a manager?
