Yes Mason did not have his best game but it would be great if his Offensive Line wasn't getting owned play after play and his receivers were not 3rd string players and the running backs actually are gaining some yards.

The Offensive line gets an F- for this contest
    Coaching gets an F-
And besides Watt and Heyward the defense gets an F

Again not ready for this contest. From top to bottom.

It’s not that it’s the fact that even when he wasn’t being rushed he was missing his throws. Been like this all year

I will say this the kid is tough, he can take a hit plus he made some of the best tackles of the night when he threw the picks not sure how that actually happens the QB making the tackle but he did.

And what about the throws he made? And then the dope calling the plays has him heave it up into never never land like the Homeless Guy on the sidelines is familiar with. Please. I'm not defending Masons play in this contest but he is getting NO help from the rest of the offense.

There’s already threads about Tomlin and Rudolph currently on the first page. Do you just need some attention of your own?

We have a name for this sort of thing around here, it's called: "Hey! Look at me!" Not the first, won't be the last. Easiest solution - just ignore - like you and I just failed to do. :lolol:

Again I am not sure why Rudolph is supposed to be the only one to play well on offense. Literally no other player on the unit played well.

Context is quite the rarity these days it seems. I wonder why that is?!

Good God. Are you related to MR? Why are you not holding him accountable?

Go back and look at each of the four INTs.

INT 1: The flea flicker. No pressure. He underthrew the ball allowing the corner to tip it.
INT 2: Beautiful clean pocket. He steps up, plants, and misses the wide open receiver by a throwing it a yard and a half behind him.
INT 3: Marginal pressure. He throws it right into the arms of defender who is standing right in front of the receiver
INT 4: No pressure. Steps up and overthrows McDonald by two yards. Bad decision to throw it there in the first place between 3 defenders.

The offense as a whole is bad, but Mason did more than his share and each of the INTs were directly on him.

Steelers have had the worst luck the last year with talent I have seen in a long time. It's as if the second someone starts to do well, they leave the game, team or league. Steelers are hanging on a thread this season. They need to just finish and get ready for next year. At this point, it isn't fair for anyone anymore. Not ownership, Mike Tomlin or the players. It's just a **** year where nothing went well and they all are trying their hardest to right the ship.

I am gonna do my best to enjoy the season and see what happens with the defense, they have some good players that will be important down the road.

Despite not having guys around him there are some real concerning things in terms of his mechanics that I'm seeing.

    1. It looks like he has regressed this year, and since the concussion. It looks like he forgot everything that he knew.
    2. In the pocket he is a statue with really bad footwork, he doesn't even step into an open window so he can step into the throw and drive a ball. He has a really slow "wind-up" on a pass
    3. He has no touch on the ball, he will fire a pass on a frozen rope when he needs to arc it and vise versa. He is also throwing behind receivers instead of hitting them in stride
    4. If he has a guy on him he is apt to make some really bad throws instead of throwing it away or taking the sack.

He is not a rookie either, I don't give him a pass that others will. I need to see more at this point.
