    Defense is fine.

The Offense is having a horrible year.
There is no next man up.

If this league is serious at all about safety that idiot should be gone. They toss you for a year for dope and let this clown back in. Burfect is gone for the year.

Had that feeling all game. Johnson was pancaked on a return after he was down as well!

that should have been the point he refs took charge

He has not shown the ability to throw a deep ball or intermediate passes at all. He has weak arm and therefore has a really low ceiling in the nfl. A fine backup for emergency play but never a full time stared for a team hoping for a ring

Well, let's see what the league does with this mess.

The Ref's are partly to blame here as there should have been a penalty on the late hit on Mason. They let it go and then it explodes. Not that it would have prevented the situation but there still should have been a flag. Believe me, I was a ref for 30 years and you cannot let this stuff go.

Secondly, Mason took offense and tried to get Garrett off him. Garrett retaliates and removes Mason's helmet and uses it as a weapon and actually hits him in the head. Most players that throw a punch that misses get suspended. Suh got suspended for stepping on a player while he was down. This borders on assualt. I'm not a lawyer but the Steeler's should look into this.

Thridly, Tomlin is a tool. Anyone old enough should remember the crap Jerry Glanville pulled against the Steelers when he coached the Oilers back in the 80's. When the game was over, Noll met Glanville in the middle of the field and gave him the finger. Not the middle finger, but a good point to the chest and told him to cut the crap or there would be a price to pay and they did pay a price.

Tomlin should not have shaken hands with the coach but he should have pulled a Noll and gave the coach a few choice words. We lost 2 guys to illegal hits to the head and now we have a guy swinging a helmet and making contact. Tomlin should have forfeited the game right there and walked off. Instead he is trying to make peace. Meanwhile we lose 2 guys and we could have lost a 3rd. Piss poor move by Tomlin. Grow a pair and defend your damn team.

I’d agree. Put Ben in that situation tonight and do we really think the result would have been that different? The team had no legit weapons after losing Conner, Juju and Johnson and had to chase the game.

I’m not sold on Rudolph but he was in an impossible position tonight

Yes he was, but it's a cover....Kitchens had his team really ready to play and bring the intensity....after 3 head to heads he didn't step in and slow them down.....who is to blame?? bounty stuff

Honestly, I don't know what to think of the entire offense. Injuries, play calling, run blocking, poor execution, predictable... I was way off on my prediction of over 400 yards of offense. I thought the offense for once would change things up --- but nope.

    Painful game to watch

Going to sound a bit crazy here but I have to give credit to Baker for his explanation. He could have taken it any way he wanted to and then some. Given his previous commentary, I expected him to choose the low hanging fruit.

He did not. Condemned his player for such an heinous act the same. Given what Baker was in the beginning of the season interview wise to now, he is maturing. Still has that edge clearly but took the high road.

Baker Mayfield, you have my respect good sir! :hi:

They lost Juju BECAUSE of Rudolph. Receivers aren't going to keep selling out for a guy who leads them into kill shots, nor should they.
