They've been doing everything they can think of to salvage the season and for a little bit they did a decent job. Can't for the life of me understand why they wouldn't at least try Hodges out in the second half. You never know he may get hot and you roll with him. It's also easy to see why they've kept shackles on Mason.

Without any real running game, its hard to put the entire offense on MR. We're just not very good. Period.

Mason was terrible but the offensive skill talent on this team is lousy.

• JuJu just doesn't look the part of a No 1 WR.
• Johnson and Washington are hit or miss.
• A stiff breeze will injure McDonald. Vannett is an ok 2nd TE.
• Connor is too injury prone to be a franchise RB.
• Samuels is a gimmick player. At best, he's an ok 3rd down RB.
• Holton and Jones are practice squad bodies.

Colbert should be working out Dez Bryant and Josh Gordon next week. Kaepernick too while we're at it.

We need to stop drafting project players and MAC feel good stories.

 

Can he run like Lamar, cause right now that's what we need at QB, a runner?

 

This is pretty much Rudolph playing with a Div 3 college offense. Can't get upset. It is what it is. Do the best you can this year, and wait for everyone to be healthy next season.

our running game was decent with Nix in there. For the life of me, I don’t understand why Tomlin and Fichtner will not sign a FB. Do they really think that inexperience guys like Samuels and Edmunds can handle the load w/o any additional blocking help?
