    Yes - he also said that he was headed to Denver last week to take care of unfinished business. This guy needs to stay out of the media and start talking with his leadership and tackling ON the field. I'm starting to get tired of hearing the promises on Thursdays - e.g. James Harrison, and Woodley last year when he was injured. They need to step up on SUNDAYS.

    I normaly don't care what players say EXCEPT for guarantees. Dumb LaMarr, dumb.

    I don't think it was a gaurantee, but what would you have him say "Yea, there a good chance we will lose and be 0-2."

    That's silly, there are lots of answers he could have given that would have been more fitting. "We'll manage not to go 0-2" is just a slap in the face of the Jets and added motivation to knock our dicks in the dirt. I'm not going to get that worked up about it because I'm not really into censoring what players say but bulletin board material is never really a good idea. Of course it never really hurt us when Joey would shoot off his mouth but then again, this team isn't playing as well as the teams we had with Joey.

    I don't think it was a gaurantee, but what would you have him say "Yea, there a good chance we will lose and be 0-2."

    It's OK to say it, if he can back it up, but he better pass rush better than he did in week one: The Jet Oline is pretty stout, so come on Woodley, you can talk the talk but let's see you walk the walk....

    Meh, not that big of a deal really. I have no issues with that statement. Now when Smith made the guarantee a few seasons ago..... :facepalm: :frustrated:

    It's buliten board material for the Jets but I think it might be what we need. Woodley is one of our leaders and he seems to be stepping up to that role. Hopefully this doesn't backfire but I like the leadership!!!

    I'm fine with him saying this if he comes out and has a big game. If he has another bad game, he should be told to shut his mouth the rest of the season.

    Well at least he is not pulling a Woody Harrelson from White Men can't jump.....Or maybe he is ...He is in a zone man,he is in a zone....He assumes the Jets will play bad if they are angry and expects his D to get into that Zone with him....
