I would still give the Steelers a chance even with Brady in 2008, if freaking Mark Sanchez can do it, Ben can :hehehe:. They had Polamalu, Harrison, and Woodley all in their prime, that was the best Steelers team in the Ben era.

No coach has done less with more than Mike Tomlin.

No coach has done more with less than Bill Belichick.

Harbaugh is a top 10 HC in the current NFL. Definitely a better HC than Tomlin. I'm not saying Tomlin is the worst... but he is overrated. He is an average Head Coach.... ranked somewhere between 15-20 out of 32 teams.

Well... there's many people posting that we are doomed to enter "Malone-Brister-O'Donnell-Stewart-Maddox Purgatory" once Ben retires.

There's even one guy who says we're doomed no matter what!
I liked Maddox and Kordell. 2 games each!

Kordell Stewart led his team to 2 conference championships. How many QBs have this on their resume? Not many. Neil O'Donnell too...lololol

The Steelers QB who choked in SBXXX

It's been almost a quarter century. Let go of the hate.

January 95 AFC Championship was a total team failure... coaching and players. Worst playoff loss in Steelers history, IMO. Yeah, I think O'Donnell was the culprit in the loss to the Cowboys in XXX. The rest of the team played well overall considering the talent mismatch we had with the Cowboys... good enough to win.

Tomlin has the Tebow loss... but that pales in comparison to Cowher's epic failure vs. Chargers in AFC Championship.

Yes I would have still said Mike Tomlin is a good coach if the Steelers would have lost or won. Being a good coach does not mean you are not without flaws.

I would hope they'd have numbers like that with all the first round draft picks they have. Pure talent is putting them in a position to win, not scheme. I'd like to see how scary our D would be with an innovative DC.
