And the injuries just keep coming.

CBS is reporting that Dwyer missed practice with a foot injury. I looked but haven't seen a more detailed report yet. Although I'm not super high on Dwyer, he's clearly our best option. This is going to hurt us quite a bit against the Jets. :frustrated:

He will be fine I hope, but Redman is still a good option....I do agree that Dwyer is our best option if our OL in not going to block.....I think Dwyer has better vision than Mendenhall and Redman,,, yes that is huge esp. if the running lanes are clogged up...If holes are ther we have a stable of RB'S who can do damage...

Also Harrison (knee), Sly (knee) & Troy (calf) didn't practice today.

the Packers had more key injuries than any team i can remember a couple seasons ago and they still managed to beat the Steelers in the super bowl. injuries suck, but they can overcome them. they just need to keep their head above water and eventually these guys will get healthy.

they have a decent schedule. its not easy, but its not murderers row either. im hoping they can go 5-2 best case or 4-3 worst case before they go into NY to play the Giants.

So did Harrison (knee) Polamalu (Calf) and Sylvester (knee). Just a recurring theme in the NFL. Always seems worse though when its our Steelers.

Troy is injury prone. If he could stay healthy he'd be even more intimidating than he already is. Anyway, he's expected to play.

Keep in mind that usually Wednesdays are rest days for a lot of the guys (Especially older or slightly dinged guys). Sly wont play and Harrison is the only question mark of the rest. The others will play. Dont make things bigger than they are people.

Do you have some inside information saying that Dwyer's foot injury is minor and he'll play come week 2, because I haven't seen that stated anywhere. Until then, this is just a thread to share information. People can draw their own conclusions. you don't like it, don't read it.

Espn has Mendy listed as probable. Mabe he has better luck than the others did last week.

But to be fair, didn't they get most if not all of their injured players back before that game? Not saying we wont either but just saying.....

They were down quite a few players in the SB, and they lost a couple more during the game.

Oh, I thought they were full strength by that game. Could have swore that was the case but wasn't sure.

Shaners right, I remember screaming in frustration because they were down half their team but we still couldn't take advantage. Of course, we were down some players too but rational thought is hard to come by when you are losing the SB.

I hope he gets to play because I had read somewhere that Tomlin said that he was gonna give him more playing time because he felt that he had earned it.

He said on Twitter yesterday that he was good to go, and he practiced today. I saw him jogging in a video today and he didn't appear injured.

    Dwyer injury

I saw on TV that Dwyer did not practice Thursday due to an injury. Any word on the injury or whether he will play (or start) Sunday?

    Re: Dwyer injury

Pretty sure it was Wednesday that he missed and he was full participant yesterday and today.

    He's good to go Sunday.
