    I totally agree. I was worried from the very beginning. He is a 3rd down back, considering his frame. He just can't be an every down guy. I wish we kept Bell and let Brown go from the very beginning. Bell just wanted paid for 200+ touches. I love Conner and his story as a cancer survivor. The kid's body just isn't built for every down like Bell.

    Agree and disagree. I to do not think Conner will have a sustainable career unless he is used in the fashion you describe. As for Bell, they made a compelling offer that was fair and might very well have limited what they could have done on the D in free agency. Barren, a yuck so far, but Nelson was a good signing. I know we will always think of the should have/would have thing, but what more were they supposed to offer?
