I agree but, it was the same when they opened a Sonic, Chic-fil-a and In-N-Out. That's Santee! When you live in a town who's best restaurant is Olive Garden...….

I miss working on the NC/SC coast. I'd pick up shrimp almost every night on my way 'home', shrimp so fresh they'd still be wiggling. I'd take them back to the camp ground and sear them on the grill while the spaghetti cooked. Add a lil olive oil and crushed red pepper.
It's an hour+ drive from where I've been working lately, but I'll make the trek for oysters once in awhile.

I slow-cooked a pork roast yesterday so I could have pork sandwiches for the game today.

Hell of a fan base the Maple leafs have. Last Saturday wife and I were in Philly for a play. Couldn't understand why I kept seeing Maple Leaf jerseys in Center City. Must have been 15-20 of them. Later find out they were in town to play the Flyers. Glad leafs beat them that night.

Penguins softened up the Blackhawks for you.:) Beat them last night.

Leafs tix are crazy price here & usually resale, lot of folks travel to other citys to watch them. I'm not a hockey guy but putting the game on for my buddies. Good to hear Pens softened them up, Leafs lost last night and suck on back to back nights. How bad was the Crosby injury?

Seems Crosby gets injured once every season. As long as he is back come March I'm good.

Tamales are my wife’s favorite meal but unfortunately not a good option in Hooterville PA.

My wife is from New Mexico, one of her favorite memories is going to her friends house and her mom made homemade tamales.

Actually it is on his meal plan for a heart patient. Usually a sirloin, broccoli, small potato no salt or butter. Pretty healthy in moderation.

I eat that a lot. I’m also going to look like Macs brother. Or my brother.
