This is a monster game for us being 2 games out in both the division and WC. Both teams are hit by the injury bug so that kinda evens things out. So how do we win(yeah I know score more points) well I think it starts with Keeping Brissett in the pocket.

Dupree needs a big game to keep the rush going cause you have to think with their vet LT(constanza..sp) is gonna be asked to go one on one as they double TJ on the other side.

Secondary, man we have to play close to the receiver especially if we are getting pressure.

Mason & the wr's, time to shine boys. Let's open this up and spread these guys out and take advantage of our skill sets.

FG's if it comes down to this we have been solid with a bounce back day from Boz while Vinatieri have finally struggled.

DB55 let see you shut us all up about not drafting Leonard on the other side and have a monster game. He is off to a fast start but this is the type of game imo that we drafted him for.

I just hope Mason starts better then he did in Dolphin game.

I think all can agree that this game is going down to the last 2 minutes. No way I can see either team blowing out the other. Now if the Steelers want to go ahead and win by 30 I'll be very happy to eat my words.

Yes MR getting off to a fast start would be big time. I am hoping his 2nd half last week helped his confidence. I am all for a 30 win game but I am thinking more of a nail bitter........

I am looking forward to the GDT. Should Mason and company start out like they did against the Dolphins I look forward to seeing how many people call for #1 put Duck in and #2 Tomlin must go.

We need our speed on defense to pay off. Dupree, Bush need big games and take Mack out of the game. Colts need to be made to be one dimensional on offense.

I swear some of them have a list of preprepared posts to copy and paste in, regardless of what’s happening on the field lol.

Pass defense just got a lot easier with ty hilton getting hurt during practice...... he is officially out and are 0-4 without him... if we keep Marlon mack in check and control their very good te's and hit brissett early and often, then we should be able to pull this one out

    Is Hilton available for them?

If not, shut out Mack and trust our DBs to play tight and aggressive.

Be interesting to see how our rush gets on against a much improved Colts line

I agree Hilton is a big loss but don't sleep on Pascal he has had a few nice games and watch out for the speed of Campbell. We can't afford to just shut Mack down we need to pay attention to the deep pass as well.......we struggle with that. lol

You could say the same about the defense. Slow starts from both units won't cut it against the Colts

By the end of tonight the Steelers can move into 7th place in the AFC Playoff picture and 1 game out of both the final wildcard spot in the AFC and 1st place in the AFC North if the following happens today below.

    Steelers beat Colts
    Texans beat Jags
    Panthers beat Titans
    Patriots beat Ravens

All seems very likely the Steelers need to do their part more then any of those which I feel they will today.

Running game on both ends. We need to stop theirs and us trying to run with back-ups into strength of their defense.

Agree on most things mentions so far and something I haven't seen metnioned.. Jaylen Samuels needs to have a big game.

    1. running the ball
    2. pass blocking
    3. receiving/screens/outlet for mason

He is our only back besides the one we bought up, no? Conners, Snell out.. If he can go over 100 combined yards it will go a long way in helping our offense. We have seen him do it before when he is the feature back, most notably against the Patriots last year. Hopefully they have been practicing and have those 2 or 3 bread and butter plays with him that go for long gainers.

I just hope Samuels and the O-Line (and O-Line coach) have re-watched the NE game from last year dozens of times to to see what they did to have him run for 140+ yds in that game.

We have Samuels, Edmunds and Brooks-James.....not sure how much we can get from Brooks-James but Samuels needs to carry the load.

There are so many "keys" to winning a game in the NFL but here are mine:

    - OL play, opening lanes for runs, protecting MR- and no stupid penalties

    - WRs getting open and winning combat catches

    - WIn turnover game with ball security on offense and takeaways on Defense.

    - And of course, more freakin points, lots of them.

Have my game day uniform on and departure for the bar goes is in 30 mikes.

It’s more about the receivers than Mason, in my opinion. He missed some open guys throughout the Miami game, but in the second half, they got separation and gave Mason a fighting chance.

Both lines need to play outstanding to get this win.
Get some use out of that 8' TE we have damn it.
