Yes, sometimes I do get infatuated with speed; especially, being a track coach. I see your point as he never lasted long anywhere and that in the pecking order he would need a lot of things to go his way to get some touches. I do not see this as "throwing in the towel". At least I hope not. This would be unfair to many, especially the fans. As I stated in another post, I live for my Steeler football once a year. I wait for it in anticipation as do all of us. To sacrifice a season as some say Miami is doing is just not right. I am not saying they are or are not for the record.

As a teacher, I have never thrown in the towel on any year in my career because I am dedicated to my livelihood and on top of that am getting paid to perform at my job. The wait for football to begin every year is exciting. To think that my team has decided to throw in the towel and I must wait another whole year for a more dedicated and committed product is totally out of the question. Also, I think we are still in the mix. I know it is a cliché but we do have to continue to take this thing one game at a time. Like you said Blast, then why make the move for Fitzpatrick. Wow, he really seems to be a difference maker and I think the "D" as a whole, and the team are realizing that we can still be significant this season. STEELWINDS
