What do you expect from Big Ben?

Yeah they could have let him play out 2019 and then take it year to year but Ben probably pushed for one last pay day and he had played well in 2018 to be fair. I’ve no great issue with the deal, and the injury was just bad luck, could happen to anybody.

What I’m interested in now is what the team do going forward if he comes back a pale shadow of his former self, which is a distinct possibility, maybe even the most likely outcome now. Like I said above there are enormous cap savings to be made by getting him off the roster.

 

If he starts wearing sunglasses on the sideline, I'll start getting excited. At least he's not afraid of calling out his players. Maybe they would begin to feel accountable for the first time in years.
