Does he not have to go through waivers? If so he may be gone before the Steelers could claim him.

I’d be a bit wary, if he was worth having the Pats wouldn’t have let him go. Then again, he would be as cheap as chips so a low risk signing and with Moncrief gone they could use the help.

 

Take him if you can. Steelers need WR help. Plus if he leaves next year.. you grab a comp pick.

And i still doubt this whole losing a comp because the Eagles cut Fort. I understand the concept. But not sure that's how it works.

YES. This is who we need to fill the need we missed with Metcalf. He doesn't have the character of Metcalf and short term fix but worth a shot.

This is not even accounting for the comp. pick we get back from releasing Moncrief.

 

If he can help win games without embarrassing the organization, sure. But, we don't know that and that's my problem.

 

What I meant is that I’d be sceptical that he would come in and be a difference maker. You’d probably get so so production before he gets injured or suspended.

I did say he is a cheap low risk option so I’d be for signing him if available. He has to be better than Moncrief

 

No way for me, the guy is trouble and I don't want him near our young players.
