Exactly. This is the point I tried to make on the running thread during the game against the Chargers, but nobody wanted to hear it.

The very first one is on defense.
The list of 10 is split down the middle, 5 on offense and 5 on defense.

I really liked Burns if we didn't move up for Bush. But he wouldn't have fell to 20 anyways.

This was 6 ESPN writers opinions, according to the article.
"We asked six ESPN writers and analysts to once again rank the top 10 rookies to this point."

Side note: Brian Burns returned a Minshew fumble for a TD, then later he stripped the ball from Minshew to seal the Carolina victory vs the Jags. Burns wreaked havoc all game long.

You can't fault a guy for picking up a fumble, but I get your point.

I give him credit for being around the ball and making a play on it, but he didn’t create either of the turnovers that ended up in his hands in that game.

They included his missed tackles in that stat. He actually has 4.

I’d have Bush higher too but the names on the list are fair enough.

For all the talk about not picking up DK Metcalf the real miss (if there is one, I like DJ) was Terry Mclaurin who ticks every single box for what the Steelers are missing. If he was on a decent team he’d be even better.

I don't fault him for it, but I don't give him credit either. He's got a lot of tackles because he is able to get to the ball carrier. Other than that, he's not special. Sorry, but he just isn't a force in the middle. #8 is a fair assessment of how he stacks up against his peers.

Bush has been an opportunist to this point, but not a difference-maker.

What’s wrong with a opportunistic Bush? It’s definitely a difference maker....

Bosa is the best player from this years draft, he is an absolutely transcendent talent.

Bush is excellent and I’m glad he is a Steeler but I do wonder if the opportunity cost to get him was too much.

On the printed list they had Bosa 1, then the next 4 were offensive players. If I need to break out my Grandson's 2dn grade math book I will.

Uh no, the printed list has Bosa at 1, then lists 2-5 as offensive players. The OP was "Bush the 8th best rookie, Really?". I am just responding how the article was printed, my point being QB, RB, and WR stats will loom larger to the eye that D stats usually do. Bosa is playing lights out on an undefeated team, the team garnering a lot of media attention helps his spotlight. We see Bush weekly, and frankly I am very impressed with what he has done. I don't know who has had the greater impact on our D, but Bush and Minka together have made this D much better.

Bosa is #1, but 4 of the first 4 on the list are on offense?

I didn't realize the list of top 10 started at #2. That makes sense.o_O Does it end at #9, or 11?

The 49ers are undefeated in large part due to Bosa, he deserves the attention. The Steelers are one of the most popular teams in the league, if Bush deserved more attention, he'd be getting it.

A Bosa in the hand is worth two in the Bush...
