What do you think? Dalton won't be a savior but he's had a super solid career that could make him an interesting target

It won't happen, and probably shouldn't as the Steelers need to see what they have in Rudolph, but he'd be an interesting one for sure.

Not really. He's had good and bad seasons, but the guy doesn't "suck."

We have 3 threads now about signing bad QB'S. Fitzpatrick, Mariota and now Dalton. Let's stay with Rudolph who has actually won a couple of games this year.

He may look better on our team, but he has orange hair not yellow hair so he should stay on the Bengals

I dont think the Steelers should. Run with MR and duck for now. Both are improving

I am all for seeing what Mason Rudolph can do the rest of the year. For the most part I like what I see so far. I am not sure why people are expecting him to be perfect so early in his career. He is going to have his growing pains early on. Give the kid time to develop and I think he can be a franchise guy. He could have melted after the poor start last night. He didnt. He stuck with it and ended up having a pretty good night, and we got the win. Lets stop trying to replace him with washed up never was quarterbacks.

    :hmm:

Is Mason in any sort of legal trouble?! Like seriously though! I have not heard anything to state he is!

Don't really have anything against Andy Dalton as a player or a person. I think he's a solid NFL QB playing for a cheap skate organization. Having said all of that.....no, I'd take a pass on him. He's 32 and has taken a pretty good beating over there, both mentally and physically.

I'd rather sign Marino from Miami's luxury box than the scrubs being mentioned. We'll be fine with Rudolph this year. Hopefully Ben comes back to his old form next year and forces Rudolph to wait a few more years to grab the torch. Rudolph is playing better than all those guys and with less experience. His ceiling is certainly higher. It's not like we're loaded with offensive weapons like we used to be where we could say QBs dropped from other teams could have success with our all pro play makers.

It probably has something to do with getting to watch a HOF QB play for us the past 15+ seasons. Had Rudolph come along following Stoudt, Malone, Woodley, Brister, O'Donnell, Tomczak, Stewart, Graham and Maddox, we'd be saying he's the second coming of Terry Bradshaw.

Not a hope in hell. One way ticket to mediocrity for $17m a year. Steelers couldnt sign him even if they wanted to. Let the Bears or someone(anyone) else have him.

Mariota makes even less sense, he is Fitzpatrick lite, I’d prefer to ride with Rudolph for now and Ben coming back next year

Dalton impresses me. All of those years as a Bengal, and he’s never once been arrested!

The Bengals are the worst run organization in all of major sports. They have no GM and only 2 scouts on the payroll who don't really travel because of tight purse strings. I wouldn't want Dalton cause I've watched him over the years to know he doesn't really fit our team. There's no surprise he wasn't traded cause Mike Brown says that he never wants to possibly make some other team better no matter if he has the possibility of improving his own team. Dalton could easily fit in with some other team with the need such as the Bears or Fins but will waste away his talents riding the pine in Cincy. Remember this is the team that Carson Palmer quit on and demanded a trade. I kinda feel sorry for AJ Green cause he is stuck in a rut of Bungle wasteland.

    Hahahahahahahaha

I had my pup fixed years ago... His red rocket still pops out time to time. Somehow this is totally relevant/irrelevant, unneeded, unacceptable not comprehendable yet entertaining all the same. What's for breakfast?

Dalton will be starting again in Cincy after a few blowouts.
