There is a ton of playoff implications and tiebreakers involved in this game Sunday with the Colts not only in the division but the wildcard race as well. I said the Steelers path to 9-7 which I think Will be good enough to get in the playoffs somehow before this win was beat Miami,Cincy, the Jets and split with Cleveland. And win 3 of the 5 games against the colts rams bills cardinals and ravens. That’s why this game is so huge on Sunday with the Colts. With the Ravens probably going to lose to the Pats Sunday a win against Indy puts the Steelers a game out in the division at 4-4 to the Ravens 5-3. So no time to really enjoy this game with this game being so huge with the Colts on Sunday.

If mason can hit some deep passes then sure 9-7 would be likely

Should the Patriots beat the Ravens, they Steelers win the division by winning out.

Darn shame those two fumbles that cost games happened. But, that's the way the cookie crumbles, obviously.

Every game is huge. If we play like we did tonight next week, we are going to have a really bad night.

Greetings steelers fans. A colts fan here. The colts play to the level of their competition so the Steelers will have a chance to win. The colts are the only team since the merger to have their first 7 games decided be 7 points or less. They don't blow out people and they don't don't get blown out.

This will by far be the biggest test for our CB all season (thus far).. They have weapons on the outside. One person I am worried about is Ebron.. If Barron and Bush can keep him contained then we have a decent shot. But we CAN NOT start like we did last night.

I'm just glad it is in Pittsburgh. I'd say this will be a game that will have us both sweating balls with 2 minutes left.

First of all, you are intimating that the Colts will play "down" to Steelers level while the spread for this game is between a pick-em and 1 point.....not much playing down there.

Second, you don't know squat about playing down to your competition until you lose to teams you are heavily favored to beat ...... like the Steelers do.

Yep you beat me to it lol. With 4 losses and almost at the midpoint of the season the room for error VERY minimal.

Next 2 games will tell it all. If the Steelers can beat Colts and Rams with all of the injuries racked up... this will be an impressive accomplishment.

    Hey Ward.

I said this before, I know mathematically there is some room for error. However, their mindset should be there is no room. Last night was great and hopefully it acts as a springboard to get this squad "jump started". I know it is a cliché but we really have to stay laser-focused and take this thing one game, one quarter, one play, all at a time. No more bone-headed plays, no more giving up leads, no more BS. I stated in an earlier post that the tables have turned as far as our strengths. It is now the D's turn to step it up big time while hopefully the O can keep improving each week. STEELWINDS

Going to be huge games these next two weeks. Good defenses. We shall see what we are made of.

But, I think if our defense plays at the high level it has, and causes the turnovers at a high rate we will be in ball games.

technically statistically steelers are better than Colts and Rams defense. Rams offense pretty decent and Colts are meh. Still both pretty good teams and better than us... obviously.

The rams are 1 dimensional right now and can not run the ball..... We could win that game at home............

The next 4 games I feel with the Colts and Rams at home and at Cleveland and Cincinnati are all winnable games. I don’t know if the Steelers will win all of them but I think this defense will at least give them a chance to stay close in all these games and win them late. I could definitely see 3-1 in this stretch which would put the Steelers at 6-5 going into December the last 5 games and still very much in both the division and wildcard race.

Seems to me Ben was fond of throwing 6tds against the colts. Maybe Mason will be too.
