Awesome! It should be a requirement that anyone who comes on here watch this first. This is who we are and what we stand for. The media can say what it wants about Dallas Cowboy fans or Green Bay Packers fans. Steelers fans are everywhere, and support this team through EVERYTHING. We've been THE dominant team in the NFL for 40 years - and counting - and THE best fans for just as long.

I grew up in So Cal. But I was always obsessed with Pittsburgh. For a while I dated a psycho woman and put up with her just because she was from Fox Chapel. I made two trips to Pittsburgh with her in 2001. The first was in january and I got to see my first Pens game in the 'burgh. Beforehand, I ate my first Primanti Bros. and washed it down with an Iron City. What a great night that was. In May, we returned. I saw my first Pirates game at PNC park and then saw U2 the following night at Civic Arena.

Saw my first Steelers game at Heinz in 2005: the Sunday Nighter against the Browns.

My wife (not the psycho) and I have looked into moving there. I have had several job interviews: haven't landed anything. We want to live in Cranberry--have heard the North Allegheny Schools are very good. But we're now so upside down on our home in Phoenix that I think the dream is over. We're stuck here.

Bottom line is, despite never living there, I am a Pittsburgher in my heart.

This video was made in the Mid 80's --Skyline has changed big time since then. Almost no comparison.

FYI-- In 2009 Pittsburgh's Skyline was Voted #13 in the WORLD! Source: WORLD ATLAS*

Furthermore, Time Magazine refers to Pittsburgh as THE JEWEL OF THE EAST :herewego:

Great video, the first time I took the time to watch it. I am one of those who was born and raised there, left Pittsburgh but never forgot where I came from. I am an old man now, being away for over fifty years but being from Pittsburgh is something that just sticks with me. I still use some Pittsburghese in talking sometimes and find it easy to recoginze others who are from Pittsburgh by their accents.

I also have seen this before. But this time watching it really made me homesick. I go to many West Coast Steeler games and usually catch a game in Pittsburgh when I'm there. I have been retired for a while now but am young enough to make the move and have been seriously thinking about it. The folks there are the greatest and truly real people!!
