With Denver sucking this season, they may start trading their good players by the deadline, Sanders is in the last year of his contract. He's a veteran who could help the Steelers weak receiving group, would you bring him back in a trade? I would offer Switzer and a late round pick :roflmao:.

I would bring Manny back in a heartbeat. Don’t know how well that would go over with Ben next year especially if we trade Edelman.....I mean Switzer.....

Without AB here, I think Sanders would even be happy to come back and fill his shoes. That would be a great addition if we can come up with more vertical passing.

Sanders would instantly become our WR1. Yes, he is better than Juju. Juju would thrive as a WR2 though.

Probably should, but wouldn't. Doubtful. He did last year.

Until the QB's perform better on a more consistent basis it doesn't matter who the Steelers bring in at WR.

I like Sanders but why sign him and his salary? He’s just going to be another WR that Fichtner won’t let the QB throw to.

Is this possible trading by Denver speculation by you, or have you seen it written/heard it spoke about? Just curious.

The Steelers are 2-4 and the future Hall of Fame quarterback is out for the season. They also just lost their best defensive linemen. How does it make sense for a team in that situation to trade away more draft capital for a player whose contract is up at the end of the season?

I have to disagree here. Emmanuel has already had his time in Pittsburgh. Bringing him back resolves nothing.

Keep in mind he is part of the infamous "Young Money Crew". Two of the three are no longer playing in the NFL. Nevermind the awkward reunion either.

Why bring back dissension and possible chaos into the locker room?! Would not make sense to me.

If JuJu is OK with catching 1 pass with minimal targets, you think Sanders wouldn't pout if targets don't come his way?? Sanders last target in a Steeler uniform was a drop on a 2-point conversion that clinched the playoffs for Ravens & knocked us out...

If it wasn't for the history with Sanders I'd still say no, he is getting old almost always hurt and we don't need a rental player at this point.

What is the real value in a guy that plays slot WR and KR and all his does is catch the ball and fall down, I'm talking Switzer here.

YAC is short for yards after catch, with Switzer this year it is more accurate to say yard after catch, I don't see any trade value in him at all.

Pretty sure every other team can find a guy to catch the ball and fall down, I used to think big Dan was the most wasted roster spot but I think Switzer has beaten him out for that title.

There is only speculation. I don't see that he has much value unless a team is truly desperate. I think Denver keeps him to give Drew Lock a chance of success

He would be a #2 WR for the Steelers, he's better than Johnson and Washington.

I was just joking about trading Switzer to Denver, he has no trade value.
