I'd give my game ball to Heath. Goat award goes to...uhhh...let's see...the whole "defense".

Heath is an absolute consumate pro. Give me a few guys like that and I'll give you a true Steelers football team. Not these guys running around screaming "young money" and then getting hit right in the hands and dropping it.

Heath and Foote are players of the game.
Goat goes to the entire secondary.

goat....the whole damn defense. A bunch of nursing home residents in walkers & wheelchairs could run up the score on this defense. Time to trim some salary next year & get some young blood & people that have heart & desire in. They look like they're just going thru the motions, no enthusiasm, no fire. Need another Greg Lloyd or Joey Porter on the team to light a fire under their asses. Going to be a long year, I can't see this team going 8-8 now that we've been exposed on D. Every team we play will be no huddling it now.

I would LOVE to see another Joey Porter type player. We SOOOO desperately need someone to get in these young, entitled, punks faces and tell them to step up or sit down and let someone else play. Keenan Lewis "GUARANTEED" that he would be in the pro bowl. What he should've done was guarantee that he will just be "AT" the pro bowl. Maybe it'll be good for him to go there and watch Revis or Tracy Porter.

No he didnt!!! Please tell me he did not guarantee his spot in the Pro Bowl???!!! What I dont get is, Keenan Lewis has been on our roster for several years now yet Gay started in front of him...WHY would he all of sudden be starter material if he couldnt even beat out Gay??? I have never been impressed with him and after last night, still am not! Give the young guys a chance!

Sorry troops...no win...no player of the game...Ben did good especially on 3rd downs...his interception came at the worst possible time...good job Heath...to me...the big goats are Haley and LeBeau for not making adjustments...K.Lewis...sheesh.

My hero is Miller of course...I think he played a great game..I could give the Goat to the D ,but they where against Manning and he forced the D to look bad a lot of the time,,,so my Goat is Sanders...

He dropped some nice passes that wher critical,he also didn't fight for his route when the game was on the line...Ben trusted him to be the aggressive one and get that ball at all cost,,,IMO Sanders was lazy and didn't act like a man who was going all out to make a reception..

At the very least he should have been fighting for the ball and caused a incompletion, and at the very worst he should have got his body in a position to tackle the pick...If he was playing Football 101 and coming back to the ball instead of falling off his route 1 of those 2 would have happened at least.heck he might have even caught it and turned up field for a huge play.

Is why I love this ball is mine type of WR'S...They will fight to the death for the ball....I have always coached it that way,,,,when it's in the air it's my ball,,,wheter your on O or D and it is obvious the guy who wanted it most....I would simply tell Sanders if you want to be on my field you better learn to Fight,,,,,esp in round 12 and down on the score card...

Wow, and here I thought it was Troy, who overpursued, and missed a sure tackle... Isn`t a safety supposed to keep everything in front of him, and be "the last line of defense"???
Just kidding, kinda. We all know Troy is a great player, and plays a very NON traditional "safety" role...
But, If we`re gonna be honest...
That wasn`t the only time he missed a tackle, or got out of position. He admitted it himself.
Not having Clark there to help him hurts us anytime that happens.
Also, I would say Ben had his chance to do what he does best, and didn`t do it at the end. Wouldn`t blame the receiver...
As usual.... there were a lot of reasons we lost as a TEAM... I wouldn`t pick a goat, or hero...
But if I did have to pick a HERO... Yeah, Heath did pretty good, considering 2 of his catches were called back on penalties...
And even "Greedy Mike" made a nice td catch...
It`s never one player that did good , or one player who did bad, that wins or loses a game.
(Even if it`s the kicker on a game winning or losing field goal... a lot of plays happened to get to that point...)
    This is a TEAM sport!!!
And I STILL believe this TEAM has as good a chance as any of getting to the Superbowl, and winning our SEVENTH Lombardi.... Which no other TEAM has done!
    GO STEELERS!!!
