Were they even in this game. Manning was out thinking them all night long. We have the ball for 9 minutes and get 3 points. Manning has it for 37 secs. and gets 7. What is going on with the D.

MUNDY is horrible, especially on that pass for the two pointer. First he gave up the TD. I don't understand why Curtis Brown wasn't in on both of those plays.

Glad this game is over so that Mundy will be watching the game on the sidelines.

Defense as a whole STUNK UP THE JOINT!!!

It was a terrible game all together.

We had no playmakers on either side of the ball tonight, but especially on defense. Can't think of one big play we made on D with the possible exception of the fumble early in the game. Pretty sad effort.

Yep. Can't get pressure on the QB bringing 6. The opponents get pressure on the QB brining 3 and 4.

    That's the story every week.

The defense is a major disappointment. Lebeau has not change with the rest of the league. Peyton is great i understand that, buthe was not fooled more than twice all night. There was a time we possessed the ball 2to1 and scored 20 and won the game easily. I would like to know the stats on the d getting 3 and outs the past two yrs. With the rest they got tonight we should have played better. I know the offense shuld have scored more but alot of this game i put on the d. Pathetic

Once they went no huddle the D disappeared for the most part. The first quarter or so...they looked good, but then once they went no huddle...they might as well had 0 guys out there for D.

    Yes, but why is that?

Why is it that whenever a team goes pass happy, spread, or muddle huddle, we crawl into a shell?!?! We don't seem to even want to TRY to put pressure on the QB, and we revert to the "catch and chase" defense.

I guess when Peyton actually decides to retire he can make it as a great magician, cause he was able to make our whole Defense disappear.

Beginning next week we will see a whole different team emerge once they have had time to lick their wounds and realize how badly they played they all should be embarrassed from the overall effort top to bottom thin air or no thin air unacceptable!!!!!!  :bscow:

It's going to be hard for me to be impressed at a win over the jets if the jets score as much as they did today.

The defense has something to prove now.

You keep ragging on Mundy but I seen a much worse performance from Allen and Lewis.

We always have a problem defending against the no huddle and the small picks that let the other team march down the field like we are not even their. Peyton knew exactly where Troy was at all times and he would adjust to that. To me that is doing your homework which I do not think our team does enough of. That was just a terrible game for us and now we have to get on with the program and show a lot of improvement for next week. Play the Ravens like this and they will eat us alive.

Overall terrible effort by the defense. Given the time they had to rest I would of thought it would be a better performance.

Foote, Polomalu, Heyward are the only players that came to play on defense.

The entire secondary minus Polomalu needs a good tongue lashing.

The front (Hampton, Kiesel, Hood) should hear the same. they got push around all night. Timmons, Carter, and Woodley was no where to be found.

I love Troy but there is no way he gets a free pass. When Clark is out and he must cover, he is out of position more than he is making a play.

well we should all get used to seeing what we saw last night from our D. First night on national tv, every team we play is going to destroy us with no huddle now that we've been exposed. Thanks Peyton for reminding everybody how to shut us down, thanks a lot.

I will agree, but you can tell he was hustling and playing hard every play. I didn't see that from the rest.
