This dude not only STUNK UP THE JOINT, he changes the way Troy plays. They put Troy back as the FS and put Mundy up as the SS, changeing them back and forth. When Troy is playing FS, they don't worry about him playing close to the line. It takes Troy out of the game. I'm glad this game is over so Clark can come back. After seeing Mundy in the game you can really appreciate Clark.

Who else stunk up the joint!!!

I think Mundy was the least of our worries after watching how Allen and Lewis performed tonight.

Lewis was awful he wasnt even in the same zip code as his WR half the time. If a player can dive for a ball thrown to the side line from the opposite hash get up off the ground and get the first down your too far away that being said it was a TE. He was not in the picture half the night and not being able to tackle. They need to draft a CB early even trade up for one because after Ike there is no one home, and Ike didnt play well either.

But if you had some pass rush it can cover up the ineptitude of a bad secondary. That's how we got away with Dewayne Washington, Chad Scott and Lee Flowers for years.
Plus i think our seconary is much better than before. We just don't have the pass rush and scheme to get to the quarterback.

all 3 looked bad. lewis would have his azz on the bench until i could work him out on the tackling dummy for the next 6 months. the dude won't put his head in there to attempt a tackle. mundy can't cover and is always out of position. as is larry foote. cortez has looked bad for a couple of games in a row. larry foote cannot blitz up the middle he still gets caught in the wash with his head down. d-line had good and bad moments all night. ben missed some key oppourtunities for TD's. heath in the EZ. wallace running down the middle of the field by himself. could someone explain why we have a 6-8 TE right in front of our qb in the EZ and you throw the ball at his legs? he forced the ball that was picked for 6. or 8. JH makes woodley alot better than he is.

worilds looked good and i'm not so sure i wouldn't move him inside as an enforcer and pass rusher. at least based on last night. dwyer looked good, when used. van dyke looked very good for as long as he's been here on ST's. nice pickup. heath wallace sanders brown cotchery all looked good. rainey is not used properly. suisham looked good. butler looked good. warren looked good.

the o-line looks worse then last year. colon . i will say max was max last night but may have been the best lineman on the field for us. of course thats like finding a sandwich that someone took a crap on and you got the half that was still on the wax paper and not laying on the ground.

Just a quick question? If it affects Troy when Clark is out, isn't it also possible that it affects the way the entire secondary has to play? I know Troy is amazing but he shouldn't be the only one to get a pass when Clark is out. One thing we can conclude from this and I saw as more apparent than ever is that Ryan Mundy is slower than slow and a liability in pass coverage. I hope that Robert Golden can earn some trust and replace him ASAP!

not sure what play you are talking about. i know he had Heath wide open in the endzone and the ball got knocked down. all he had to do was put some air under it and its an easy td, im sure he didnt see the guy that got his hand on the ball, but never the less he was trying to be to perfect. just throw a floater out there and its an easy 6.

as for blown coverage play where Wallace was running free down the field, Ben had almost no time in the pocket. if he didnt have the Broncos defense on him in less than 1 second he probably would have seen him. tought to see a man down field when your trying to duck around defenders.

all in all it was a bad night for the defense and the offense left to much out there.

It was the failed two-point conversion attempt. It looked like he threw the ball at Pope's knees, but actually the Broncos Defensive Lineman got a piece of it.
