    The Good
    The running game got going
Moncrief didn't drop a pass :lolol:
The defense got turnovers, early pressure on Rivers
That mouthy Keenan Allen was held in check
No comeback this time for Rivers and company
Sutton with the onside kick recovery, and the game ending interception
Steelers Nation representing and taking over their stadium :herewego!:

    The Bad
The Chargers made it close in the second half
    Hodges interception
    The dropped interceptions
The pass rush wasn't effective in the second half
The injuries continue to pile up

    The Ugly
Too many passes completed in the middle of the field by Rivers
Burns getting a penalty to give them a first down, and giving up a TD

Good: a win, pressure without blitzing, the first half

Bad: Duck and Conner putting themselves at risk for injury, our secondary, the second half

Ugly: injuries, AB, 4th quarter playcalling, Pouncey's shotgun snaps

The good: The first three quarters.

    The bad: The fourth quarter.

The ugly: They suffered four more injuries to key players tonight. I'm guessing Conner and Watt will be fine by the Miami game, but I'm far less optimistic about Tuitt and Haden.

The good: We Beat Phillip Rivers in his home stadium with a majority of black and gold faithful in his ear all evening.

The bad: we didn’t beat him bad enough.

    the ugly: work.

Good: Sutton, no on side kick has been recovered this year, new rule makes it tough as hell, Sutton loses that ball Rivers would have tied game.

Bad: Cheerleaders should have worn black and gold, that was a home game for Steelers.

    Ugly: Not the cheerleaders.

The good: We won!!!!! Devin Bush's 1st half, Sutton, Conner & the oline. The pressure the D put on without the blitz. The fans that took over the Stadium.....nice job guys! We have a bye week to heal.

The Bad: The ability to not put these guys away after half. Ducks passing.

The Ugly: Burns! The continued lack of coverage of a TE. Pouncey's snaps. Injuries, injuries, injuries!!!!

Man nice win, the Defense came out and put points on the board. I have been critical of the Bush pick but holy cow that kid's first half was awesome. Also another guy who many of us pound on who made a play or 2 was Big Dan, wow. The bye week couldn't have come at a better time we need to heal up to make a run. I know it was Duck's first start and I am not dumping on him but I have read and heard a lot about his passing ability and it didn't look good last night. I hope it was just first game jitters and he lights it up if he keeps starting. Happy for a win cause I didn't have a lot of confidence. :steelflag::steelflag:

To be clear, we aren’t really talking the enter 2nd half of the game defensively. It was really only the last 7 minutes of the 4th quarter.

To be fair we did have the ball over 6 minutes to start the 2nd half, which by the way was nice.

Good: Old school running it down the throat/ Devon Bush/ Alualu
    Bad: Tuitt's injury/ Burns starting
The Ugly: 17 points given up in the 4th quarter and zero scoring.

A win is a win and needed. The bye can't come at a better time.

    Good: we win.
Bad: injuries, missed tackles, had snaps.
Ugly: standing around the ball on the ground. Defense fading in the second half. artie. Intelligence. Our depth.( Instead of just playing good enough per play to not screw it up, I'd like to see I can via for a start)

I think the only 2 players on the field who knew it was a lateral was Bush and Rivers. Vince Williams jumped over the ball like it was live grenade.

Add Devin Bush's tackling to the ugly category. Someone needs to pull him aside and run some tackling drills with him.

He just gotta clean up the fundamentals . He’s tackling too high you can’t get away with that in the NFL. He has to make “varsity “ tackles. He’ll learn. I hope he cleans up some of his antics from last night as well. We’re looking for leaders out there. We don’t need talkers we need doers.

Be a talker just don't get flagged.
This defense needs a nasty voice to bring the fear back.

Talk doesn’t bring fear. Rattling somebody’s cage does.

Fear won't come from talking. Your talking should be backed up by your actions. Greg Lloyd was feared. Lambert, Green, Greenwood, Blount, Holmes, and the rest of that crew were feared. But it wasn't their talking that scared people.

Bush needs to keep his gold grilled yap shut and stop missing tackles.

When Bush has a stat line like this, he gets a pass on a few missed tackles.

He was johnny on the spot. Props. He played a good game. Granted. I'm not taking that away from him or diminishing his impact. But you don't get a pass for missing multiple tackles. That could come back to bite us if not dealt with.
