SNF l Duck Tales - Steelers @ Chargers (Gameday Thread)

Can’t call that off a replay. If they miss it, they miss it. They can’t look up at the screen and correct it. Doubt that it was even played on the screen in that stadium though. We saw it on the national broadcast.

 

So real fans aren't allowed to be realists or trash the team? Tomlin isn't good, the Chargers aren't good. The win puts Pittsburgh at 2-4, terrible record. Tomlin got himself a rare west-coast win.

He deserves every bit of negativity that goes his way. Tomlin hasn't done a damn thing for this team but destroy it. But he has had no losing seasons!!! Yeah right. That is all he has had since 2011. Failure after failure with a team ripe with talent.

But cool win, Pittsburgh wont make the playoffs though.

 

I just read where Hodges and Burns got a game ball for the win tonite, What the hell did Burns do to get a game ball ?????

 

I actually just bought a busted clock at a garage sale that is never right. It runs, but not at the right speed, so it's never correct. So, not even that one works

 

But that kind of stuff happens all the time. How many times do you see one official make a call and the other says the opposite and it turns out the opposite guy is right and they go with it. It happens.

 

Why so much hate? This team is all banged up lol

lets make this perfectly clesr the Steelers will be 5-4 and in first place after this homestand and you and you're elk the Tomlin haters of America will be crying in their coffee. Mark my words.

Fouts was as big a punk as Rivers. He used to yell at his teammates too. He did have a big arm and was accurate most of the time. He was blessed with some of the best receivers and a true bad ass TE. He was cursed (thankfully for me) with no defense!

Just got done watching the highlights again. I'm just chuckling about Vince's pink socks. In every defensive clip he is in it reminds me of the ultimate warriors frilly boots. It's killing me lol.

 

Wow what's going on in here. Just got home from the game a bit ago and still just have a glow about how great it was.

Such an awesome time tonight. Have never been to Pit to watch a game but I have to think tonight was pretty damn close to what it must be like at Pit.

 

How did they suddenly change the call after missing it live then?

 

It was gameday and we turned to Captain Optimism(@SteelerGlenn) for some words of encouragement. He talked a big game all week but the day was finally here and the pressure of the big night was weighing heavy. Captain Optimism had turned into Negative Nancy. Out of no where comes a brave soul... Not the hero we deserved but the hero we needed, @Roonatic and he said and I quote
