The Steelers are going to win the division!

I'm fairly regular around here and this is what I've learned of late:

- Tomlin is an idiot, he can't coach , hell the moron kicked off to start OT last week!
- Butler and Fichner are clowns, they don't adjust and can't devise a decent game plan
- The two big offense threats: Juju has a bad toe, Connor has a bum knee, both have fumblitis
- Samuels is out for a month, JW's arm is in a sling
- They play at AZ and at LA Chargers, and you know how bad they are on the West Coast
- They play at NYJ and at Cincy, and you know how they play down to bad teams
- This team is 3-8 in its last 11, started mostly with Ben at QB, and many with AB

Yet, we're reassured that despite these handicaps, Duck Dodgers and Benny Snell football will go 8-3 and steal the division at 9-7. A record, BTW, that wouldn't have got you 2nd place in last yrs AFCN.

Great optimism and I won't piss on it, but it reminds me of a quote from a WNY sportswriter over 40 years ago:

The AFC North is putrid with a capital PU. 8-8 or even 7-9 just might win the division.

I don't get why Tomlin is an idiot for letting his defense set up the offense to win. It almost worked for not for the fumble. You think that offense was going to march as far as they were kicking it all day? They were getting pinned back all day.

 

Bengals defense shows up & they will win. Pulling it off in Cali idk, fast shifty backs & K. Allen in the slot on the west coast. Hodges will have to outscore them.

 

How about this, if we make the playoffs you stay home. If we don't make the playoffs you stay home with the other girls

 

I think he was referencing Tomlin in the general sense, not the deferring in overtime.

I’m a pioneer. I actually felt guilty but I thought it was too funny to pass up and I’m not smart enough to edit it. I figured it can’t be any worse than the unprovoked personal attacks that happen here quite frequently when voicing one’s opinions.
