Well by today's standards Steely Mc Beam should've been able to escort Thomas to the gallows for a proper send off but in all honesty, that's the Brand of ball most of us grew up with and miss. ****ty outcome on a nice advance of sheer effort by Rudolph to get that first. CBS Pittsburgh has an article where a doctor who deals with concussions wathe the hit live and reviewed it afterwards talked about being hit from behind as he is twisted slightly and violently hit from the front. He had no where to go and so took the full hit and it was a bad one.

 

It doesn’t matter if it was a malicious hit.

 

On a side note, Thomas wasn't ejected, but Roger Goodell still fined James Harrison 20K.

I’m with you. Harrison is a piece of crap. Guy quit on his team and his excuse was Tomlin promised me playing time and didn’t keep his promise.

he saved the KC game with a sack, i read his lips as they left the field, he told Tomlin maybe I can play now. never put him in much, even though he was still better than Dupree. I don't blame him,but, he is a POS.

 

All I can say is, if you want to see the definition of "Steeler to the core", go dig up Hines Ward`s retirement
press conference on youtube.(or in the sticky`s forum, under "favorite memories"...)
Alll due respect to #92. Loved him while he was here, and I don`t think he`s wrong about the hit on Rudolph,
BUT... Steeler to the core, doesn`t wear any other colors, even if it`s his right to do so.
Just sayin... others have, but they never claimed to be "Steelers to the core", even if some of them obviuosly were.

I want to hate this guy so bad but I cant. Dude was a beast and when I think "Steeler LBer", he checks all the boxes.....except he went to the Cheatriots....It couldve been worse, he couldve went to the Ratbirds or the Cowturds. As much as I hate NE, they are 3rd, maybe 4th on my hate list.

Wish he wouldve went the route of Hines and Troy and just retired.
